Luang Prabang Tour | 03 Nights / 04 Days
Luang Prabang – Pak Ou Caves – Xiengmene – Khuang Si Waterfall – Luang Prabang

Day 01 : Arrive Luang Prabang
On arrival at Luang Prabang International Airport you will be met and transferred to your hotel. After you have had time to rest and freshen up we will head off on bicycles to see some of the highlights of Luang Prabang including a visit to the Royal Palace Museum, which hosts a range of interesting artifacts from the Royal period in Luang Prabang. Cycling on we are seeing the city’s oldest temples, the magnificent Wat Xiengthong with its roof sweeping low to the ground, representing classical Lao architecture, the impressive stupa of Wat Visoun and the shrine of Wat Aham.

Day 02 : Luang Prabang – Pak Ou Caves – Xiengmene – Luang Prabang
Today we embark on a cruise upstream on the Mekong River, stopping at Ban Xiengmene, Wat Long Khun and the limestone cave of Tham Sakkarin.
Following a picnic lunch we continue our boat journey the mysterious Pak Ou Caves. These caves are an ancient pilgrimage site and contain thousands of gold lacquered Buddha images left there over hundreds of years.
Returning to Luang Prabang you have the option of visiting Ban XiengkekandBan Xangkhong where villagers making jute paper and continue to visit the textile village of Phanom, a small village known for its hand weaving or returning to your hotel to relax.
Overnight in Luang Prabang.

Day 03 : Luang Prabang – Khuang Si Waterfall
After breakfast we begin our journey to Khouangsi Waterfall stoppingalong the way to visit the morning Phousi Market, this where all the locals of Luang Prabang come to do their daily shopping.  You will see a variety of local foodstuffs and products including dried buffalo skin, local tea and saltpeter among the chickens, fish, vegetables and fruit, everything needed for daily life in Laos.
On arrival at the Khouangsi Waterfall you will have the opportunity to cool off with a refreshing swim in the topaz pools below the falls, walk along the forest trails and visit the Bear Sanctuary.
Returning to Luang Prabang your afternoon is free to explore or relax at the hotel.

Day 04 : Depart Luang Prabang
Depending on your flight, you may have time at leisure before you will be transferred to the airport in time for your departing flight.

Ancient Laos | 03 Nights / 04 Days
Luang Prabang – Pak Ou Caves – Khuang Si Waterfall – Vientiane

Day 01 : Arrive Luang Prabang
On arrival at the airport, you will be met and transferred to your hotel.
After a short rest we head out to see the city’s oldest temples, the magnificent Wat Xiengthong with its roof sweeping low to the ground, representing classical Lao architecture, the impressive stupa of Wat Visoun and the shrine of Wat Aham.
From here climb to the top of Mount Phousi to explore the sacred gilded stupa and to enjoy the panoramic view of the city and the sun setting over the Mekong River.
Decenting the mountain your will find yourself in the midst of the famous Luang Prabang Night Market, where you can find a unique selection of handmade textiles and handicrafts locally made by both ethnic Lao and hilltribe people surrounding Luang Prabang.
Your evening is free to explore the Night Market and sample some local cuisine at one of the many restaurants the town has to offer. Overnight in Luang Prabang.

Day 02 : Luang Prabang – Pak Ou Caves – Khouang Si Waterfall Luang Prabang
This morning you have the option and opportunity to rise early and participate in the daily morning ritual of Alms Giving, you will experience saffron-clad monks collecting offerings or ‘Alms’ from faithful local residents. This tradition is unique to Laos, being the only Buddhist nation still preserving the daily procession.
After breakfast back at the hotel we begin our journey to Khouangsi Waterfall stoppingalong the way to visit the morning Phousi Market, this where all locals of Luang Prabang come to do their daily shopping.  You will see a variety of local foodstuffs and products including dried buffalo skin, local tea and saltpeter among the chickens, fish, vegetables and fruit, everything needed for daily life in Laos.
On arrival at the Khouangsi Waterfall you will have the opportunity to cool off with a refreshing swim in the topaz pools below the falls, walk along the forest trails and visit the Bear Sanctuary. You will also enjoy a picnic lunchbelow the falls.
Upon return to Luang Prabang we board our private boat for a pleasant and scenic cruise up on the Mekong River to the mysterious Pak Ou Caves. These caves are an ancient pilgrimage site and contain thousands of gold lacquered Buddha images left there over hundreds of years.
Returning to Luang Prabang we disembark our boat and have the option of taking a short drive to Ban Phanom, a village famous for its hand weaving or returning to the hotel for free time to relax.

Day 03 : Luang Prabang – Vientiane
After breakfast back at your hotel we take a stroll through the Dalat Sao or morning market full of local foodstuffs from the farms and jungles surrounding Luang Prabang.  From here it is a short walk to the Royal Palace Museum, which hosts a range of interesting artifacts from the Royal period in Luang Prabang.
We then transfer to the airport for your flight back to Vientiane.  You are seeing the major temples of Vientiane including the oldest, Wat Sisaket, with its thousands of miniature Buddha statues, and the former royal temple of Wat Prakeo, which housed the famous Emerald Buddha Image. We also visit the national icon of Laos, That Luang Stupa, stopping along the way to take some pictures of the imposing Patuxay Monument, which is Vientiane’s own Arc de Triumph, from there you visit COPE Center. The COPE was created in response to the need to provide UXO survivors with the care and support they required, namely by way of orthotic and prosthetic devices. This museum was set after in 1997 to help covering the victim during Indochina war.
Heading for the waterfront your evening is free to enjoy a few drinks watching the sunset over the Mekong River, explore the Night Market and take in some of the city’s nightlife.
Overnight in Vientiane.

Day 04 : Depart Vientiane
This morning is free until transfer to the airport for your departure flight.

Get to know Laos
03 Nights / 04 Days
Luang Prabang

DAY 01 ARRIVE LUANG PRABANG
Arrive and transfer to the hotel.
Night in Luang Prabang.

DAY 02 LUANG PRABANG – ELEPHANT CAMP – LUANG PRABANGD
Breakfast at the hotel.
In the morning we will go by road for 30 minutes, until we reach the elephant camp, a place where these gentle great creatures live, most of which were rescued and saved from hard work and slaves by their former owners. In this camp, the elephants are cared for and pampered, with the aim of reinserting them back into their natural habitat one day. There we will have the opportunity to interact with them and there will be the possibility of feeding them bananas, their favorite delicacy (cost per passenger).

Later, we will take a ride on the back of these majestic animals through the dense jungle and until we reach the Mekong River. Along the route, one will have the possibility to develop their skills to be a good “mahout” (elephant driver).

Lunch at a local restaurant.
Later transfer back to Luang Prabang and hotel accommodation.

DAY 03 LUANG PRABANG
Breakfast.
Pick up at the hotel to begin the visit of the city. We will go to the temple of Wat Phou Khouay, which also functions as a secondary school for monks, to delve into their lifestyle and Buddhist teachings.

Next, the temple of Wat Sane, and Wat Xieng Thong, one of the most beautiful temples in the capital and located between the Mekong and Nam Khan rivers. Also known as the Temple of the Golden City, its mosaics are worth admiring, especially the one with the tree of life.

Lunch at a local restaurant.
In the afternoon, we will visit Wat Tat Luang, called the “monastery of the royal stupas” because inside it are the ashes of Luang Wat, the last king of Laos. They will also find a Buddha statue weighing more than 500 kilos there.

We will continue to the Ock Pop Tok Living Crafts Center, the perfect place to get to know the textile and craft world of Laos up close. Finally, we will climb Mount Phousi, a hill of dense vegetation in the center of Luang Prabang, which offers a beautiful sunset and a great panoramic view of the city.
Accommodation.

DAY 04 LUANG PRABANG – KUANG SI WATERFALLS – DEPARTURE
We get up early at 5:30 a.m. to see the rows of monks coming out of the pagodas to ask for their food, which people very respectfully hand out to them.

Visit of the local market in the morning and later return to the hotel to have breakfast and regain strength.

Next, we will head towards the Kuang Si waterfalls, 20 km from the city.
Once there, they will be able to enjoy the privileged environment and the beautiful 3-level waterfalls, where, in addition, the most daring can bathe in one of its various natural pools.

Once the activity is finished, return to the city and at the indicated time, transfer to the airport to take the flight to the next destination.
This flight has to be from 3:30 p.m.
