Your safari begins with an early morning pick-up from your hotel in Kampala. Your driver-guide will brief you before starting the scenic journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, home to nearly half of the world’s remaining mountain gorillas.
As you drive through southwestern Uganda across the Rwandan border, you’ll pass stunning landscapes, rolling hills, banana plantations, and vibrant villages. You’ll stop for lunch en route and enjoy opportunities for photography.
In the afternoon or early evening, you’ll arrive in Bwindi. You’ll check in at your lodge and relax ahead of your big trekking day.
Day 2 Gorilla Trekking and Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

After an early breakfast, you’ll head to the Bwindi park headquarters for a detailed pre-trek briefing led by Uganda Wildlife Authority rangers. You’ll then begin your gorilla trek, hiking through Bwindi’s dense, misty forest in search of a specific habituated gorilla family.
The trek can take between 2 to 6 hours, depending on the gorillas’ movements. Once you find them, you’ll spend one life-changing hour quietly observing these majestic creatures, watching as they feed, groom, play, and interact in their natural habitat.
After the trek, your driver will transfer you to Lake Bunyonyi, one of the most beautiful and tranquil places in Uganda. Known as the “Place of many little birds,” Bunyonyi offers dramatic scenery, terraced hillsides, and a refreshing atmosphere.
Relax at your lodge by the lakeside, or take a gentle walk to enjoy the views.
Day 3 Boat Cruise on Lake Bunyonyi and Transfer back to Kampala
You’ll start your day with a peaceful canoe or boat cruise on Lake Bunyonyi.
Your guide will take you around some of the lake’s 29 islands, including the historic Punishment Island, and share stories about the local communities and cultures that surround the lake.
After the boat ride, you’ll enjoy a hearty breakfast, check out of your lodge, and begin your return journey to Kampala. You will have lunch en route, marking the end of an unforgettable Ugandan experience.

Luxury Safari in Murchison Falls National Park

Day 1 Murchison Falls National Park

Start your day with an early morning pick-up from your hotel or the airport for a transfer to Murchison Falls National Park. The drive will take approximately five hours, with a stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary.
At the sanctuary, embark on a rhino trek where you’ll have the chance to see white rhinos up close, along with antelopes, various bird species, and more. Spend an hour observing and photographing these magnificent creatures while learning about their behavior.
After your rhino encounter, enjoy a lunch break before continuing your journey to Murchison Falls National Park. Relax for the rest of the evening and unwind with dinner and an overnight stay at your lodge.
Day 2 Murchison Falls National Park

Wake up early and enjoy breakfast at 6:30am. At 7:00am, your driver and guide will pick you up from the lodge to start your game drive. During this drive, you’ll have the chance to see a wide variety of wildlife, including lions, buffaloes, giraffes, elephants, antelopes, waterbucks, and numerous bird species.
After the game drive, return to the lodge for lunch. In the afternoon, prepare for a boat cruise along the Nile. On the boat, you’ll encounter Nile crocodiles, hippos, buffaloes, and elephants along the riverbanks, as well as beautiful birds such as bee-eaters, colorful kingfishers, and the shoebill stork.
The boat ride will take you to the base of Murchison Falls, where you’ll get a clear view of the spectacular waterfalls. Afterward, hike to the top of the falls for stunning panoramic views. Enjoy an eving game drive when you are returning to the lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.
Day 3 Morning Game Drive And Transfet Back To Kampala
After enjoying a delicious breakfast, you can immerse yourself in nature by choosing either a guided nature walk through the serene landscape or a final exhilarating game drive to catch sight of any wildlife you may have missed. Once your adventures are complete, return to the lodge to pack your belongings for check-out. We will then provide comfortable transportation back to either Kampala or Entebbe, allowing you to relax during the journey. Your adventure begins with a scenic drive from Kigali to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, crossing the Rwanda-Uganda border at Gatuna/Katuna. The journey showcases Rwanda’s rolling hills and Uganda’s lush countryside, with a brief stop in Kabale town for refreshments.
Upon arrival at your lodge near Bwindi, you’ll check in and enjoy lunch. In the afternoon, you can opt for a cultural walk to meet the Batwa Pygmies, learning about their forest traditions. After dinner, you’ll receive a briefing on the next day’s gorilla trekking adventure.

Ultimate Gorilla Safari and Lake Bunyonyi

Day 1 Depart to Bwindi Impenetrable National park

You will be picked-up by our driver/guide and start on your exciting 3-day Ultimate Gorilla experience tour to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The drive will take you southwest Uganda by road, cross the Equator then to Mbarara for Lunch and through Savannah grasslands to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The scenic drive through Kigezi Highlands [commonly referred as “the Switzerland of Uganda”] and banana plantations take you to the gorilla Sanctuary of Bwindi NP. You will arrive in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and you will mainly check in your accommodation, relax as you prepare for the Bwindi gorilla trekking experience the next day. Check-in at the lodge, unwind, have dinner and an Overnight.
Day 2 Gorilla tracking and Lake Bunyonyi

After an early breakfast and a briefing by a ranger guide, you will enter the gorilla sanctuary for your adventure. The beauty of this rain forest is spectacular! The area offers dramatic steeply forested landscape and is incredibly dense, but crisscrossed by numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists. The time taken and the terrain vary with the movements of these great primates. Once you locate a gorilla group, you will be allowed an hour in their presence. The thrill of spending time observing these gentle and endangered giants is an awesome, exciting experience to be long savored.
Return to your lodge. Have your lunch and thereafter check out for a transfer to Lake Bunyonyi. Lake Bunyonyi is framed by lush, green-terraced hills that reach a height of (2,200 – 2,478m)and its contorted shore which encircles 29 islands of various shapes and sizes scattered across the water that make it most magical — you could admire them all day.
Day 3 Transfer back to Kampala
You will have a relaxed breakfast then you may opt to enjoy a swim in the lake since its bilharzia and hippo free before you set off on the journey to Entebbe. Else, embark on your return journey to Entebbe Airport or accommodation of your booking. Expect en route stopovers in Mbarara town for lunch and the Uganda Equator line mark in Kayabwe for some memorable photography (if you didn’t stop on the first day) and maybe buying some art pieces of interest. Proceed with the journey arriving late afternoon/evening for drop off at the airport or accommodation of your booking.

This is a unique opportunity to track the critically endangered white rhino at Ziwa, which is the site of one of the most successful rhino breeding projects in the world and contributes to their conservation. From there, proceed to Masindi town to access Murchison Falls National Park via the Kichumbanyobo Gate. Enjoy a scenic drive through lush greenery, cross the seasonal Sambiya River to reach the Nile River, and continue with a ferry crossing to the North Bank. Check in at your lodge before embarking on a sunset game drive to end your day in an adventurous style.
Day 2 Murchison Falls NP

Join your driver-guide on an early morning game drive to explore the diverse wildlife of Murchison Falls National Park. Look out for elephants, lions, leopards, buffaloes, Rothschild giraffes, hippos, waterbucks, bushbucks, and Jackson’s Hartebeest, among others. The birdlife is also abundant, with species such as the Abyssinian ground hornbill, grey herons, African fish eagle, and saddle-billed storks.
Return to the lodge for lunch. At 2:00pm, you’ll transfer to a pier on the Nile River for a boat cruise towards the base of the falls. Along the way, you may see hippos in the water and Nile Crocodiles lining the riverbank. Capture stunning photos and enjoy the view from the rocks at the base of Murchison Falls. After disembarking, hike to the top of the falls, where you will witness the Nile forcefully funneling through a 7–8-meter gorge, creating one of the most powerful waterfalls on earth. After the hike, join your driver-guide for your return trip to the lodge.
Day 3 Murchison Falls NP – Entebbe
Take an early breakfast, check out of your hotel, and transfer back to Entebbe with a brief game drive on your out of the park.

Trekking Gorillas from Rwanda to Uganda

Day 1 Pickup from Kigali and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Early in the morning, you will be picked up from the airport or the hotel where you spent the night. After breakfast, a representative from our company, who will be your driver, will pick you up and brief you about your trip. You will then board your safari vehicle and begin your transfer to Uganda, crossing the Rwanda-Uganda border at Katuna.
As you travel, you will pass through the lush countryside adorned with hills, which earns Rwanda the title ‘land of a thousand hills.’ In the afternoon, you will arrive at your lodge in Bwindi, where you can check in, relax and freshen up.
Later in the evening, you will embark on the Batwa cultural trail, visiting villages to experience the daily routines and activities of the Batwa people. You will be amazed by their skillful hillside cultivation and animal care. After this immersive experience, you will return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2 Gorilla Trekking Experience in Bwindi and Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

On this day, you will start early with breakfast before leaving your lodge. Afterward, head to the park offices for a briefing on the dos and don’ts of the gorilla trekking experience in the forest. You will then be divided into groups and set out to search for these gentle giants. The search duration can be unpredictable, but once you spot the gorillas, you will have one hour to observe them before returning to meet your driver guide upon finishing the tracking experience.
Later, you will transfer to Lake Bunyonyi. Upon your arrival in the evening, you will check in to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3 Lake Tour and Return to Kigali
After an early breakfast at your lodge, you will check out and begin your tour of the lake with a boat ride to explore the various islands. Later, you will transfer back to Rwanda, crossing the Katuna border from Uganda into Rwanda, with lunch provided along the way. Your gorilla trekking experience will begin in the morning with a hearty breakfast. You will drive to the park headquarters with a packed lunch where you will meet the park ranger guide at 7 am for registration. He will take you through a briefing about the dos and don’ts while tracking and will then lead you to the forest to trek the endangered mountain gorillas.
The mountain gorilla trekking lasts from 1 to 8 hours, depending on where the gorilla family is spotted because they keep moving to look for food. It will be exciting, as you will be enjoying the calls of the birds and seeing other primates as you search for the endangered mountain gorillas. After a successful trek, head back to your lodge for relaxation.
Day 3 Departure
Today after breakfast. You will embark on a Journey to kigali for your connecting journey home.

Murchison Falls National Park & Budongo Tour

Day 1 Pick up and Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

Just as agreed, so will our experienced driver-guide honor the promise by meeting you at the agreed point and time for a warm welcome and briefing. Thereafter, you will embark on a 5-6 hours’ scenic drive to Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s oldest and largest conservation area in Uganda.
The drive comes with clear views of breathtaking landscapes, green vegetation, and busy streets, among others. Your arrival at the lodge will be late in the evening for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 2 Morning Birding and Afternoon Boat Cruise

This second day is one to remember, with activities commencing as soon as breakfast is done early morning. You will have a briefing by the guide, who will explain everything you need to know about birds. Then, we’ll take you to the wilderness for a 3-4 hour search, where you will identify the sounds and sights of several bird species in the wild, notably the crested cranes, Egyptian geese, and the sought-after stork among others.
You’ll have a lunch break sometime after the first hours of the day, and then an afternoon boat cruise that will not only expose you to magnificent waterfalls, and several aquatic birds such as the kingfisher. Dinner and a nap are the last things on this day.
Day 3 Full-day Birding at Budongo Forest

After enjoying a delicious breakfast meal early morning, you will get your packed lunch and head for a rewarding full-day game drive at the vast Budongo forest, right at the boundary of Budongo Forest National Park. You will traverse the giant Mahogany forest, identifying the unique characteristics of the different bird species, notably, the chocolate-backed kingfisher, Hugli’s Francolin, white thighed hornbill, the blue-breasted kingfisher, and the dwarf kingfisher, among others.
Lunch break comes after approximately 5 hours of quest, whereas the birding proceeds up to sunset, when you will return to the lodge for dinner and a nap.
Day 4 Departure
After breakfast, you can have a top of the falls hike, before checking out of the lodge for a rewarding 5-6 hours’ drive, while enjoying the breathtaking landscape and fresh air among others. Dinner and a peaceful overnight mark the closure of today’s business.

Gorilla Trekking and Lake Bunyonyi

Day 1 Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

On this day of your safari, you will be picked up by your safari driver from the airport or your hotel, check out and embark on your journey to Bwindi begins with early breakfast and then drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, Uganda. A leisurely lunch served to you at Igongo Cultural Centre after a photography experience at the Equator crossing. Drive straight afterwards to check into the lodge you booked around Bwindi National Park for relaxation and a night stay.
Day 2 Gorilla trekking and Batwa Experience
All meals included.
Full-day exploration in Bwindi National Park. After breakfast, have some packed lunch plus bottled water being a long day search for mountain gorillas is estimated to take 2-6 hours inclusive of 1 hour with these unique gentle giants. Assemble at Buhoma gorilla offices for orientation or briefing on gorilla trekking rules, allocation of the gorilla family, and park guide.
Walk back to where orientation was done, get a gorilla trekking certificate, and back to the lodge for chilling. Late in the evening, have a walk to Batwa pygmies for a cultural experience before retiring for the night at your lodge.
Day 3 Transfer to lake Bunyonyi

After an early morning breakfast, exit Bwindi for Lake Bunyonyi in Kabale, Africa’s second deepest lake. Drive for 2 hours while enjoying the view of the rolling hills of Kabale, check into your lodge, and have some relaxation while viewing the lake, and later lunch. In the afternoon, visit Kyahugye Island one of the 29 islands of Lake Bunyonyi while on a boat ride/trip. The trek takes 3-4 hours depending on where you find Gorillas, The park ranger will interpret the flora and fauna and the lifestyle of the gorillas. Day 1 Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

You will be picked up from the airport or your hotel by our guide and start your journey to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The park is home to the largest population of mountain gorillas and hosts a variety of spectacular birds including 23 of the 24 Albertine Rift endemic bird species including the blue-throated broadbill, bar-tailed trogon, and other beautiful forest species. You will go to bed earlier this evening so that you are well-rested for a thrilling experience of gorilla tracking the next day.
Day 2 Gorilla Trekking at Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After an early breakfast, you will head to the park headquarters where you will have an orientation and meet your guides for the day. You will be led by an experienced ranger who will tell you interesting facts about flora and fauna and the lifestyle of the gorillas. The trek will take between 2 and 7 hours but is well worth the effort. The trek is thrilling yet challenging as you hike through the forest to the gorillas. Once you reach a gorilla family, you will have a chance to observe the family in close proximity for an hour.
Day 3 Drive to Kibale National Park

You will drive to Kibale Forest National Park, passing tea plantations along the way. This diverse forest boasts 13 species of primates such as the red Colobus monkey, grey-cheeked mangabey, red-tailed monkey, and the rare L’Hoest’s monkey. There are over 335 bird species in the park, including some which are rare and endemic to the Albertine region and varying tracts of the tropical forest. You will arrive in the late afternoon or evening and check in at your accommodation, relax and enjoy dinner.
Day 4 Morning Chimpanzee Trekking and Departure
After breakfast, you will go for chimpanzee trekking and enjoy a wonderful forest experience with these habituated chimpanzees. These engaging apes are the closest species to human beings and are great to watch as they are playful both on the ground and in the trees. Thereafter, you will drive to Entebbe International Airport to connect with your onward late-evening flight back home.

Gorilla Trekking in Uganda

Day 1 Transfer to Queen Elisabeth National Park

The pick-up can be from either the Hotel or the Airport when you arrive. The tour driver who speaks English will come and pick you up. We will then drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, which is a popular place for tourists in Uganda. In the park, there are many different environments where lots of different animals live. There are ten kinds of primates, like chimpanzees, over 600 kinds of birds, and big animals like elephants and lions. You will take a break for lunch during your journey and then continue into the pretty Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will arrive in the late afternoon or evening and simply go to your accommodation to rest and relax. If we have enough time, we can go on a game drive in the late afternoon to evening.
Day 2 Morning Game Drive and Afternoon boatcruise along Kazinga Channel

Wake up early and eat your breakfast. Go on a morning drive in the Kasenyi plains and search for Cape buffalos, groups of elephants, and lions. Leopards might be difficult to find, but keep an eye out for them. Go back to where you are staying to take a break and have some food. After you eat lunch, you will take a two-hour boat ride on the Kazinga Channel. This channel connects Lakes George and Edward. While you are on the trip, you will be amazed by the wildlife you see, such as big hippos, elephants, and crocodiles. You will also see lots of different kinds of birds by the water’s edge. After the boat ride, we have two options. We can go back to the lodge and rest, or we can go on another game drive until around 6:30 or 7pm.
Day 3 Ishasha Game Drive and Transfer to Bwindi

Wake up early and go on one final game drive in the Kasenyi plains. Keep an eye out for Cape buffalos, groups of elephants, lions, and leopards (although they may be difficult to see) and more. Go back to the lodge and check out. Then, go to the Ishasha sector to find lions that climb trees. There is a 70% chance of seeing these lions, but sometimes it can be difficult to find them, especially when they are searching for food in the tall grass. If you happen to see them, it is a beautiful and unforgettable view. After Ishasha, we will go to the place where we will stay near Bwindi National Park (Ruhija sector). We will arrive there in the evening at 6pm. #If you want, you can choose to go chimp tracking (Kyambura) instead of going on a sunrise game drive. Please remember that you must get permission to track chimps before the actual date.

Day 4 Gorilla Trekking and Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi

Eat breakfast and go to the rangers’ station. You will be given information on what you should and shouldn’t do while trekking from a ranger guide. After that, you will go into the Bwindi Forest for your exciting experience. The time and terrain change when these large primates move. After you find a group of gorillas, you can spend one hour with them. Watching these peaceful and rare giants is a memorable and exciting experience. Go back to where you are staying, leave and go to Lake Bunyonyi. Lake Bunyonyi is surrounded by hills that are covered in lush vegetation and are shaped like steps. These hills can go as high as 2,200 to 2,478 meters. However, the real beauty of the lake lies in its 29 islands, which come in different shapes and sizes. These islands are spread throughout the water and looking at them can fill you with a sense of wonder and awe. You could spend a whole day simply admiring these islands.
Day 5 Drive back to Entebbe
You can enjoy a peaceful breakfast while looking at the beautiful little islands of Bunyonyi directly in front of you. After that, you will start your journey back to Entebbe. You will arrive there in the late afternoon or evening, just in time for your departure. You will have a break and eat lunch at the Equator. Don’t forget to capture some special moments with photos.

Day 1 Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

You’ll be picked up from Entebbe International Airport and transferred to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.
You will be collected by our tour guide at 8:00 am from Entebbe International Airport and embark on your journey straight to the park. You shall have a stopover at the equator for a nice experience, and take some memorable pictures and videos. You will then proceed to Mbarara, where you will have lunch. Along the way, you will view very beautiful scenery of western Uganda. You will then drive to the lodge for dinner and a sleepover.
Day 2 Gorilla trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park.

After the morning breakfast, you will meet with your guide and you will head to Rushaga park headquarters, where you will be briefed about the activity before you set off into the forest. This activity can last between an hour to 7 hours depending on the location of these endangered species. Once you find the gorillas, you will be allowed to spend one hour with them while observing their behavior, taking photographs before you return to the park headquarters for your certificate that confirms that you have tracked gorillas in Uganda. You’ll return to the lodge for your late lunch and later relaxation, dinner, and overnight stay.
Day 3 Transfer to Kibale National Park

After breakfast, you’ll meet with your guide and drive to Kibale National Park through Queen Elizabeth National Park. On your way, you will have chances to spot some wild animals in this savanna park and also the scenic landscapes of Kasese district and Fort Portal. You will later have a stopover in Fort Portal for a hot lunch. Then, you’ll proceed to check in at Kibale Forest Camp for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 4 Chimpanzee Tracking in Kibale National Park and Bigodi Wetland Excursion

After the morning breakfast, you will head to the park headquarters with an experienced tour guide to be briefed about the dos and don’ts of tracking the chimpanzees and experience some serious primates in Kibaale National Park. The activity will begin at 8:00 am. Afterward, you will set off to search for them in the forest. Once you locate the chimpanzees, you will have a full hour with them. You will then return to the lodge for lunch after proceeding to the Bigodi wetland excursion. The Bigodi wetland boasts of extensive array of biodiversity, among which are several primates. It’s also a paradise for bird watchers. Among the major bird species within the area is the great blue turaco.
Day 5 Transfer back to Kampala/ Entebbe to End the Trip

As you track them, you will have an opportunity to see other wildlife species such as the golden monkeys, the grey-cheeked mangabey, L’Hoest’s monkeys, and birds like the green-breasted pitta. It will surely be a great time when you meet the chimpanzees, as you will be in line to see the males guarding their territories, the young ones playing, and feeding.

Later in the afternoon, you’ll embark on a boat cruise on the Kazinga channel, which adjoins the two lakes, Lake Edward and Lake George. Proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, which is a habitat for our closest cousins with whom we share 99.9% DNA ( the mountain gorillas). Bwindi Impenetrable NP is harboring more than 400 mountain gorillas, which is half of the world’s population.

After an early breakfast at the foothills of the Gorilla jungle and a briefing by the ranger, you are driven to the Gorilla sanctuary for the experience. The beauty of this rainforest is spectacular! The area offers a dramatic, steeply forested landscape and is incredibly dense, but crisscrossed by numerous animal trails, allowing access to tourists. The time taken and the terrain vary with the movements of these great primates. Once you locate a gorilla group, you will be allowed an hour in their presence. The thrill of spending time observing these gentle and endangered giants is an awesome, exciting experience to be long savored.
You’ll return to your lodge, have your lunch, and thereafter check out for a transfer to Lake Bunyonyi. Day 6 Depart Lake Bunyonyi and Transfer to Entebbe for your Outbound Flight

Have an early morning breakfast before departing to the park headquarters where you will be given a safety and tracking briefing. You will then be taken by vehicle to a starting point, to commence your chimpanzee trek in the forest. After this phenomenal wildlife experience, return to your vehicle on the edge of the forest, returning to Isunga Lodge for lunch. Take an afternoon swamp walk in Bigodi Swamp sanctuary to see some birds and other primates.
Day 3 Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Have an early breakfast prior to departing for Bwindi via Queen Elizabeth National Park and watch out for the eye-catching big game on the way like elephants, buffalos, antelopes, warthogs and other wildlife. In the afternoon, relax while having lunch in Kihihi town or take a walk to the bustling market of Kihihi. Continue to Bwindi for the ultimate gorilla experience.
Day 4 Gorilla Trekking and Transfer to Lake bunyonyi

After breakfast, you will head to the park headquarters for briefing by park ranger guides, depart with picnic lunch boxes to start gorilla trekking. The activity can last up to 4 hours or more to find the mountain gorillas as you hike up and down the slopes with dense mist-covered vegetation. Hence you will have a packed lunch for this activity. This active quest will eventually bring you to the face of one of the most sought-after creatures-the mountain gorillas. Upon reaching them, you will have a full hour with them while observing and learning their behavior as you take photos. You will later transfer to Lake Bunyonyi, for the optional activities like canoeing, boat ride, and community visits.
Day 5 Transfer to Kampala/Kigali or Entebbe
After breakfast, start on the long drive back to Entebbe/Kampala with the memory of the great rare mountain apes. Have lunch en route with a stopover at the equator line for experimentation. Arrive late in the evening to be dropped off at Entebbe International Airport at approximately 6 pm to check in for your air transfer back home. Say farewell to the Pearl of Africa!

Day 3 Drive to Ishasha Sector

Day 1 Road Transfer From Entebbe to Murchison falls National Park
Your adventure begins with a morning pickup from your Kampala hotel for a scenic 6–7 hour drive to Murchison Falls National Park, Uganda’s largest and oldest protected area. En route, enjoy a lunch stop at Kabalega Diners or in Masindi Town to sample local cuisine and stretch your legs.
Upon arrival, take a guided hike to the top of Murchison Falls, where the Nile crashes through a 7-meter gorge before plunging 45 meters into the Devil’s Cauldron. Enjoy the mist, roaring waters, and vibrant rainbows before heading to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay amidst the sounds of the wild.
Day 2 Game Drive and Boat Cruise on the Victoria Nile

Start your day with an early morning game drive in the northern part of Murchison Falls National Park, across the Nile. Spot the Big 5—lions, elephants, buffaloes, leopards—plus giraffes, Jackson’s hartebeests, Ugandan kobs, waterbucks, bushbucks, and warthogs. Early morning is best to see predators and grazers active in dawn’s golden light.
After the drive, return to the lodge for lunch and rest.
In the afternoon, enjoy a boat cruise along the Victoria Nile toward the base of Murchison Falls. See hippos, Nile crocodiles, and birds like African fish eagles, kingfishers, and the rare shoebill stork if lucky. Cruise upstream to where the Nile squeezes through a narrow gorge, creating the thunderous Murchison Falls—a perfect photo spot.
Return to the lodge for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3 Murchison Falls National Park to Kibale Forest National Park

After breakfast, you’ll leave behind the wide-open savannahs of Murchison Falls and journey south toward the lush, green rainforests of Kibale. The drive takes about 5 to 6 hours and offers a wonderful glimpse of everyday life in Uganda—rolling hills, small villages, and vibrant farmland all passing by your window.
As you get closer to Kibale, the landscape changes beautifully—from open plains to thick, tropical forest. Kibale is famous for its amazing wildlife, especially the wild chimpanzees you’ll meet on your trek the next day.
When you arrive, you’ll settle into your lodge and get ready for an unforgettable primate adventure in the heart of Uganda’s rainforest.
Day 4 Chimpanzee Trekking in Kibale National Park

Today is all about getting up close with one of Uganda’s most fascinating residents—the wild chimpanzees of Kibale Forest. After an early breakfast, you’ll head into the dense rainforest with an experienced guide to track these incredible primates in their natural home.
The trek can take anywhere from 1 to 3 hours, depending on where the chimpanzees are that day. Along the way, enjoy the sights and sounds of the forest—colorful birds, monkeys swinging through the trees, and the rich greenery all around you.
When you finally find the chimpanzees, watch their playful behavior and social interactions, a truly unforgettable experience. After the trek, return to the lodge to relax and reflect on your adventure.
Day 5 Transfer from Kibale Back to Entebbe
After a hearty breakfast, you’ll check out from your lodge and set off on the journey back to Kampala. Along the way, you’ll have the chance to visit the fascinating Amabere ga Nyinamwiru Caves—renowned for their unique breast-shaped stalactites and stalagmites, plus stunning waterfalls that make for a truly memorable stop.
Next, you’ll enjoy a refreshing hike around three beautiful crater lakes nearby: Kigere, Saka, and Kikere, each offering its own peaceful charm and scenic views.

Day 1 Ziwa Rhino And Murchison Falls National Park
After arriving at the airport, you will transfer to Murchison Falls National Park. This park is renowned for its roaring rapids and expansive plains, offering excellent opportunities to spot lions, giraffes, hartebeests, buffalos, and elephants. You’ll also be captivated by the large populations of hippos and Nile crocodiles. Bird enthusiasts will be thrilled by the park’s 450 bird species, including the elusive shoebill stork, dwarf kingfisher, white-thighed hornbill, and the goliath heron. En route to the park, you’ll stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking, followed by a late lunch at Kabalega Dinners Restaurant. Upon arrival at Murchison Falls National Park, you’ll first visit the top of the falls to witness one of the world’s most powerful waterfalls before heading to your lodge.
Day 2 Murchison Falls National Park

After breakfast you’ll embark on a game drive in the northern area of the park, where you’ll search for some of the “Big Five” (buffaloes, lions, elephants, and possibly leopards). Keep an eye out for other wildlife such as Rothschild giraffes, bushbucks, warthogs, waterbucks, and a variety of antelopes. Return to your accommodation for a delicious lunch and a brief rest.
In the afternoon, you’ll head out on a three-hour boat trip to the base of the falls, which is considered a highlight of any safari here. This cruise offers a close-up view of the aquatic wildlife, including huge hippo pods, crocodiles, and numerous aquatic birds along the north bank as you make your way to the mighty waterfalls. Don’t forget your camera, as you’ll have plenty of opportunities to take pictures.
After the boat cruise, you’ll enjoy a leisurely game drive back to the lodge.
Day 3 Murchison Falls National Park – Kibale National Park

After breakfast, you’ll depart early for Kibale Forest National Park. Along the way, you’ll pass through picturesque tea and banana plantations, offering a glimpse into the local agriculture. There will be a stopover at a tea plantation for some photos before continuing to your lodge.
Day 4 Kibale National Park – Queen Elizabeth National Park

Today, you’ll have the opportunity to track the famous chimpanzees of Kibale National Park. With 98% genetic similarity to humans, these primates are our closest relatives. They are located in 21 countries throughout Africa but are most easily found Uganda due to their dense populations. In Uganda today there are approximately 5,000 chimpanzees left in the wild. The trekking experience takes place along well-maintained trails, offering a chance to encounter these fascinating creatures in their natural habitat. Kibale is also home to a remarkable variety of other primates, boasting more species than any other East African forest. Alongside chimpanzees, you may encounter red Colobus monkeys, red-tailed guenons, white-nosed monkeys, gray-cheeked mangabeys, blue monkeys, L’Hoest’s monkeys, and black and white colobus monkeys. Afterward, you’ll transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park for a night game drive, with the possibility of an additional evening game drive if time permits.
Day 5 Queen Elizabeth National Park

Today, you will drive to the famous Queen Elizabeth National Park and begin your morning game drive. With 200 kilometers of well-maintained game viewing tracks, Queen Elizabeth National Park offers a remarkable safari experience. The park is home to an impressive population of wildlife, including around 5,000 hippos, 2,500 elephants, and over 10,000 buffaloes. You can expect to encounter Africa’s iconic species such as elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, and various antelope species. Predators like lions, leopards, civets, genets, and serval cats roam the grasslands, while black-and-white colobus monkeys are often seen in the trees. Baboons, known for their bold nature, are also commonly sighted. After the morning game drive, you will return to the lodge for lunch before embarking on a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel.
Day 6 Queen Elizabeth National Park – Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Wake up early and enjoy breakfast before heading out in search of tree-climbing lions. Afterward, you will proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Bwindi is a significant habitat for mountain gorillas in Uganda, with an estimated population of 400 (roughly half of the world’s total) living here. The park is home to several habituated gorilla groups, allowing for gorilla tracking experiences. Upon arrival, you will check in to your accommodations and have a relaxing afternoon in preparation for the trekking experience scheduled for the following day.
Day 7 Bwindi Impenetrable National Park – Lake Bunyonyi

After an early breakfast and a briefing by a ranger guide, you will enter the gorilla sanctuary for your adventure. The beauty of this rainforest is spectacular! The area features a dramatic, steeply forested landscape that is incredibly dense, crisscrossed by numerous animal trails accessible to tourists. The time taken and the terrain vary with the movements of these great primates. Once you locate a gorilla group, you will be allowed an hour in their presence. The thrill of spending time observing these gentle and endangered giants is an awesome, exciting experience to be savored long after. Return to your lodge for some rest and lunch. Day 1 Arrive and drive to Kibale National Park
Arrive in Entebbe before 13h00 and meet our driver-guide and start the drive to Kibale Forest National Park. The park is popular for its primates like chimpanzees, black and white colobus monkeys, red-tailed monkeys, and L’Hoest’s monkeys among others. You will arrive in the late afternoon or evening and check in at your accommodation.
Optional activities at an extra cost are available if you arrive in the early afternoon. Go for an excursion in the Bigodi wetlands to sight a few primates and birds, visit a crater lake, visit the Amabere Ga Nyina Mwiru Caves for some cultural and historical insights, or take a walk to visit the Sempaya Hotsprings in Semuliki National Park.
Day 2 Morning chimpanzee trekking and drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park

You will go for chimpanzee tracking and enjoy a wonderful forest experience with these habituated chimpanzees. These engaging apes are the closest species to human beings and are great to watch as they are playful both on the ground and in the trees. Have lunch and then proceed to Queen Elizabeth National Park. This is one of Uganda’s most popular parks, offering scenic game drives. It has a wide variety of wild animals and over 600 bird species, incorporating a wide variety of habitats that range from savannah to wetlands and lowland forests. Later, we proceed to the lodge.
Day 3 Game drive and boat ride on Kazinga Channel

Have an early morning game drive. There are over 100 mammal species in this park, including lion, hippo, buffalo, leopard, spotted hyena, elephant, and the elusive giant forest hog. You will also visit the salt lakes in Katwe before returning to the lodge. In the afternoon, you will have a boat ride on the Kazinga Channel. This channel connects Lake George and Lake Edward. Here, you will have a chance to see different animals coming to the water, as well as a variety of bird species. You will enjoy an afternoon game drive after the boat ride in the park. Later, we return to the lodge.
Day 4 Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. The park is home to the largest population of mountain gorillas and hosts a variety of spectacular birds, including 23 of the 24 Albertine Rift endemic bird species. They include the blue-throated broadbill, bar-tailed trogon, and other beautiful forest species. Tonight, you will go to bed early so that you are well rested for a thrilling experience of gorilla tracking the next day. We proceed to the lodge for check-in.
Day 5 Gorilla Trekking

After an early breakfast, head to the park headquarters where you will have an orientation and meet your guides for the day. Trekking the mountain gorilla is one of the most exciting wildlife experiences on earth. The trek will take between 2 and 7 hours, but is well worth the effort. You will be led by an experienced ranger who will give you interesting facts about flora and fauna and the lifestyle of the gorillas. The trekking is a thrill, although challenging, as you hike through the forest to the gorillas. Once you reach a gorilla family, you will have a chance to observe the family in close proximity for an hour.
Day 6 Drive to Lake Mburo National Park, game drive

Today, we drive to Lake Mburo National Park. The park forms a mosaic-like habitat with rocks, dry slopes, open and wooded savannahs, forests, and swamps increases. This diversity of habitats has a variety of birdlife with 313 bird species recorded in the park. They include the flame-head barbet, long-tailed zitting cisticola (Tabora), African bins rail, collared barbet, and binding bush singer among others. You will have a game drive as you enter the park and see animals such as topi, impala, giraffe, eland, waterbuck, buffalo, and zebra.
Day 7 Morning nature walk, and departure
You will get up early morning for a guided nature walk and game drive and then return to the hotel for a hearty breakfast. Drive back to Kampala crossing the equator, and later drive to Entebbe International Airport to connect with your onward flight back home.

Day 2 Chimpanzee Tracking and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After having breakfast, you’ll transfer to the headquarters of the park, where you will be briefed, and by 8:00 am, the search for the amazing chimpanzees begins. As you track them, you will have an opportunity to see other wildlife species such as the golden monkeys, the grey-cheeked mangabey, L’Hoest’s monkeys, and birds like the green-breasted pitta. It will surely be a great time when you meet the chimpanzees, as you will be in line to see the males guarding their territories, the young ones playing, and feeding.
You will return to the lodge and later head out to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will arrive at your accommodation for dinner and overnight stay.
Day 3 Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Boat Trip Along the Kazinga Channel

On this beautiful day, you will be required to wake up so early for your breakfast since you will be going for a game drive so that you can see the morning risers in the Kasenyi plains, such as elephants, buffaloes, antelopes, and lions; in fact, you will be able to see them closely. Return to your accommodation for lunch break.
Later in the afternoon, you’ll embark on a boat cruise on the Kazinga channel, which adjoins the two lakes, Lake Edward and Lake George. You will surely be fascinated with the huge concentrations of water animals such as crocodiles, buffalo, hippos, and also birds like the malachite kingfishers, monitor lizards, etc. You’ll return to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 4 Transfer to Bwindi with en route Game Drive in Ishasha Sector

After an early morning breakfast, you’ll drive through the ishasha section, which is in the southern park of Queen Elizabeth National Park, popularly known for the tree-climbing lions. This will be the highlight of the day, having spotted the lions.
Proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, which is a habitat for our closest cousins with whom we share 99.9% DNA ( the mountain gorillas). Bwindi Impenetrable NP is harboring more than 400 mountain gorillas, which is half of the world’s population.
Upon arrival, nothing much will be done except checking in your accommodation for dinner and overnight rest to get fresh for the following day’s trip highlight.
Day 5 Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi and Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for Relaxation

Day 6 Depart Lake Bunyonyi and Transfer to Entebbe for your Outbound Flight

Day 1 Airport Pick-up and Hotel Transfer
On the first day of this amazing Uganda safari, you’ll be received and welcomed by our company representative at the same time as your safari driver-guide for the transfer to a hotel in Kampala.
You’ll explore Uganda with our 8-day Uganda safari, where you will visit top and most popular safari destinations in the country, such as Queen Elizabeth, Murchison Falls, Bwindi Impenetrable, and Kibale Forest National Parks.
Day 2 Road Trip to Murchison Falls National Park, in North-Western Uganda

You will have breakfast and begin the journey to Murchison Falls National Park-Uganda’s largest Conservation Area, found in the northwestern part of the country. The drive lasts 6-7 hours and takes you through different small Towns, roadside food markets, and small villages.
You’ll reach this park in the afternoon for lunch at the lodge and later head for the hike to the top of the falls. Your driver will return you to the lodge for an overnight stay and dinner.
Day 3 Game Drives along the Northern Banks of River Nile and Boat Ride to the Bottom of the Falls

You’ll wake up early in the morning to have breakfast and undertake a game drive along the northern banks of the River Nile. You’ll watch out for the topis, elephants, oribis, Rothschild giraffes, Uganda Kobs, lions, buffaloes, leopards, Defassa waterbucks, Jackson’s hartebeests, spotted hyenas, and warthogs among others. You’ll have lunch after 3-4 hours of the game drive and retire to the lodge for lunch.
In the afternoon, the Nile River will await your presence, for the boat cruise to the bottom of the Murchison Falls, where you will see numerous hippos and crocodiles. The wildlife, birds, and views of the Nile plunging through a narrow gorge of 7 meters make the boat cruise the highlight of the visit to Murchison Falls National Park. You’ll return to the banks of the Nile River for a drive back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 4 Drive from Murchison Falls National Park to the Lush Kibale National Park

You’ll enjoy an early morning breakfast and check out of the lodge for a drive to Kibale Forest National Park through the green countryside, rolling hills, and valleys, and enjoy views of the Rwenzori Mountains peaks covered with snow as well as the Escarpment wall, among others.
This is probably the longest ride of this safari and comes with several stops to stretch your legs. You’ll have lunch, then be in Kibale Forest National Park in the evening for an overnight stay and dinner.
Day 5 Half-day Trek for Chimpanzees in Kibale NP and Drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Breakfast is served early at the lodge before embarking on a transfer to Kanyanchu Visitor Center for registration and briefing. Chimpanzee tracking is conducted in many places in Africa but it’s very unforgettable and extraordinary in Kibale Forest because of the high concentration of these great apes. Chimpanzees are the closest relatives to humans and during your visit you will not only stare in the eyes of one of Earth’s great apes but our close cousins.
While trekking, other primate species, birds, elephants, buffaloes, amphibians, and butterflies will be encountered during this 1-3 hour trek, but the highlight is finally meeting face to face with chimpanzees.
You’ll continue to Queen Elizabeth National Park, where you will check in at a lodge for lunch, then a game drive. While here, you will see large herds of animals. Dinner will be served on your return to the lodge and is followed by relaxation and an overnight stay.
Day 6 Boat Cruise along the Kazinga Channel and Drive to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After an early breakfast, you’ll head for the refreshing boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel, a natural channel that connects Lakes George and Edward and is home to crocodiles, hippos, and riverine, savannah, or woodland bird species. The boat cruise along this Channel also brings you close to animals that roam along the banks, such as Uganda Kobs, buffaloes, bushbucks, and elephants.
You’ll drive back to the lodge for your luggage and continue south of Queen Elizabeth National Park towards Ishasha sector, and be ushered to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.
Day 7 Trek for Mountain Gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

This is the best and most memorable day of this safari. As you prepare for this thrilling trek for mountain gorillas, make sure to wear a long-sleeved shirt/blouse, safari pants, and carry a waterproof backpack, a good non-flash camera, enough water, and snacks. Assemble at the park headquarters for a briefing on gorilla treks, and by 8 am, you’ll begin the trek through the jungles.
The hike through forested slopes, dense vegetation, and thickets lasts anything from 1 to 5 hours. Once you reach the mountain gorillas, you are allowed to spend a maximum of one hour with them while sitting, standing, or squatting 7 meters away. You’ll be at your lodge for lunch after the remarkable time with the mountain gorillas. In the evening, you’ll undertake a community/village visit.
Day 8 Journey back to Kampala
You’ll have breakfast at the lodge and start with your 8-9 hours’ journey back to Kampala City. You’ll enjoy en-route lunch in Mbarara Town or Igongo Cultural Center, then another stop at Mpambire Drum Makers or Uganda Equator crossing at Kayabwe (72 kilometers to Kampala). Day 1 Pick Up from the Airport – Transfer to the Hotel

After your breakfast, prepare for pick up by your safari guide/driver to begin your journey to Murchison Falls National Park with a stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary to track the white rhinos. Then, you will be driven to Masindi town for a lunch break before proceeding on your journey to Murchison Falls National Park.
You’ll enter the park via Kikumbanyobo gate with a visit to the top of the falls if time allows, to experience the cool breath and sounds of the waterfalls without forgetting the view of the entire park from the top of the waterfall. Day 3 Game Drive and Boat Cruise Along the River Nile

On this day, you will be leaving Murchison Falls National Park very early in the morning as the journey to Kibale is quite long and tiresome. So, you will have an early morning breakfast and then embark on your journey driving Southwest through the Albertine Escarpment of the great Western Rift Valley with a stopover for lunch in Fort Portal. You will arrive in the late evening and check in your booked lodge for relaxation and an overnight stay as you prepare for the next day’s activity.
Day 5 Chimpanzee Tracking and Cultural Walk in Kibale Forest National Park

You’ll wake up to an early morning breakfast and transfer to the park offices for a briefing. Afterward, you’ll leave for Kanyanchu Visitor Centre for a briefing on our 2-4 hours trek to see Kibale chimpanzees. Along the way, other species of primates, birds, and flora can be sighted. You will only enjoy 1 hour with chimpanzees immediately after you have got them, a moment for you to also take photos.
Afterward, you’ll return to the lodge for lunch and connect to Bigodi for more sightings of colobus monkeys, birds, red-tailed monkeys, l’hoest monkeys, baboons, and sitatungas as well as a community walk to see how local brewer is made as well as coffee and have a taste of it. You’ll return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 6 Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park with Evening Game Drive

After breakfast, you will check out of the lodge and head to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Upon arrival, you will check into your pre-booked safari lodge, have lunch, and relax. Later, you’ll set out for an evening game drive to view the animals grazing in their natural habitat. You’ll return to the lodge for dinner and overnight. This lodge has a truly unique setting where animals literally room around the lodge and the sounds of hippos at night are amazing.
Day 7 Early Morning Game Drive – Afternoon Boat on Kazinga Channel

You will wake up to an early morning breakfast and prepare for a morning game drive. This time of the day gives an opportunity for a great game viewing as animals tend to be more active during this time, the cats normally hunt and the other animals get up to graze. After your 2-3 hours of wildlife viewing, you’ll return to the lodge for some time of relaxation and later have lunch.
You’ll set out for an exciting boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel that joins Lake Edward and Lake George. The channel attracts a lot of wildlife including hippos, buffaloes, elephants, crocodiles, and lots of water birds that align the shores of the Kazinga Channel with the most breathtaking sights. You’ll return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 8 Transfer to Bwindi, En Route Game Drive in Ishasha

After breakfast, you will check out of the safari camp and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, driving through the Ishasha Sector for a chance to see the tree-climbing lions. Day 9 Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and Batwa Community Walk

After an early breakfast, you will be guided to the park headquarters for the briefing session about the gorilla trackers’ code of conduct from the park’s guides. Thereafter, get ready, to embark on a memorable experience in this magnificent forest for gorilla tracking. You’ll trek through the beautiful nature and spend one hour with the gorillas, an unforgettable experience. This Impenetrable Forest is also full of birds, butterflies, and plant species plus forest hogs, forest elephants, sitatungas, and dikers.
The trek may be tough and slippery at some points but it all supersedes the excitement of viewing the gorillas at the end of the forest tour (This may probably be the highlight of the whole safari for you!) Tracking mountain gorillas will be rewarded with a signed gorilla tracking/trekking certificate with your name on it to show to family and friends. You’ll return to the lodge for refreshments before the Batwa community walk, indigenous to the Ituri forest of Congo.
Day 10 Transfer from Bwindi Forest to Lake Bunyonyi – Canoe Ride

Day 11 Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park – Biking or Horse Riding

Day 12 Morning Game Drive, Nature Walk

Day 1 Ziwa Rhino And Murchison Falls National Park

After arriving at the airport, you will transfer to Murchison Falls National Park. This park is renowned for its roaring rapids and expansive plains, offering excellent opportunities to spot lions, giraffes, hartebeests, buffalos, and elephants. You’ll also be captivated by the large populations of hippos and Nile crocodiles. Bird enthusiasts will be thrilled by the park’s 450 bird species, including the elusive shoebill stork, dwarf kingfisher, white-thighed hornbill, and the goliath heron. En route to the park, you’ll stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking, followed by a late lunch at Kabalega Dinners Restaurant. Upon arrival at Murchison Falls National Park, you’ll first visit the top of the falls to witness one of the world’s most powerful waterfalls before heading to your lodge.
Day 2 Murchison Falls National Park

After breakfast you’ll embark on a game drive in the northern area of the park, where you’ll search for some of the “Big Five” (buffaloes, lions, elephants, and possibly leopards). Keep an eye out for other wildlife such as Rothschild giraffes, bushbucks, warthogs, waterbucks, and a variety of antelopes. Return to your accommodation for a delicious lunch and a brief rest.
In the afternoon, you’ll head out on a three-hour boat trip to the base of the falls, which is considered a highlight of any safari here. This cruise offers a close-up view of the aquatic wildlife, including huge hippo pods, crocodiles, and numerous aquatic birds along the north bank as you make your way to the mighty waterfalls. Today, you’ll have the opportunity to track the famous chimpanzees of Kibale National Park. With 98% genetic similarity to humans, these primates are our closest relatives. They are located in 21 countries throughout Africa but are most easily found Uganda due to their dense populations. In Uganda today there are approximately 5,000 chimpanzees left in the wild. The trekking experience takes place along well-maintained trails, offering a chance to encounter these fascinating creatures in their natural habitat. Kibale is also home to a remarkable variety of other primates, boasting more species than any other East African forest. Alongside chimpanzees, you may encounter red Colobus monkeys, red-tailed guenons, white-nosed monkeys, gray-cheeked mangabeys, blue monkeys, L’Hoest’s monkeys, and black and white colobus monkeys. Today, you will drive to the famous Queen Elizabeth National Park and begin your morning game drive. With 200 kilometers of well-maintained game viewing tracks, Queen Elizabeth National Park offers a remarkable safari experience. The park is home to an impressive population of wildlife, including around 5,000 hippos, 2,500 elephants, and over 10,000 buffaloes. You can expect to encounter Africa’s iconic species such as elephants, giraffes, buffaloes, and various antelope species. Predators like lions, leopards, civets, genets, and serval cats roam the grasslands, while black-and-white colobus monkeys are often seen in the trees. Baboons, known for their bold nature, are also commonly sighted. After the morning game drive, you will return to the lodge for lunch before embarking on a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel.
Day 6 Queen Elizabeth National Park – Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Wake up early and enjoy breakfast before heading out in search of tree-climbing lions. Afterward, you will proceed to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Bwindi is a significant habitat for mountain gorillas in Uganda, with an estimated population of 400 (roughly half of the world’s total) living here. The park is home to several habituated gorilla groups, allowing for gorilla tracking experiences. Upon arrival, you will check in to your accommodations and have a relaxing afternoon in preparation for the trekking experience scheduled for the following day.
Day 7 Bwindi Impenetrable National Park – Lake Bunyonyi

The area features a dramatic, steeply forested landscape that is incredibly dense, crisscrossed by numerous animal trails accessible to tourists. The time taken and the terrain vary with the movements of these great primates. Once you locate a gorilla group, you will be allowed an hour in their presence. Day 7 Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

You will have an early breakfast and head to the Bwindi Forest for your gorilla trekking adventure. This trek can last anywhere from 2 to 8 hours, depending on where the gorillas are located. Your guide and porters will help you navigate the dense forest as you track the mountain gorillas. Once you find the gorillas, you’ll have an unforgettable hour to observe them in their natural habitat, watching them feed, play, and interact with each other. This experience is truly magical. Lunch at your lodge after the trek, and the rest of the afternoon is free for you to relax or explore the surroundings.

Murchison Falls National Park is the biggest park in Uganda offering fulfilling game viewing. After an early breakfast, we will start the day with a game drive on the northern bank of the River Nile. Look out for giraffes, elephants, hartebeests, buffaloes, leopards, lions and different bird species.
Indeed, it is a privilege to watch wild animals in their habitat as they eat, play, and protect the young. In the afternoon, the safari will continue on River Nile. The relaxed boat safari provides more opportunities for spotting a variety of animals and birds. Watch the water the Murchison Falls, the ‘devils cauldron’. This kind of boat cruise is only found in Uganda in the whole of Africa.
Day 4 Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park

Today we will depart to the home of chimpanzees in Kibale National Park—the primate capital of East Africa. Kibale Forest is home to 13 species of primates with the main attraction being chimpanzee tracking. On this journey, you’ll have stunning views as you pass small villages, local markets and several birdlife. This is a day’s trip with packed lunch or in a town en-route.

Kibale National Park is the primate capital of East Africa. Chimpanzee trekking is a fulfilling adventure that takes you deep in the tropical forest across streams of water. You may also have sightings of red-tailed monkeys, black and white Columbus monkeys, butterflies, and birds calling from the canopies. With the help of your guide, you will locate the chimps. Enjoy picture moments and watch them as they play and feed. After lunch, visit Bigodi Village and the swamp known for its rich diversity of birds and primates depending on the availability of time.
Day 6 Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Today after breakfast, our tour continues to Queen Elizabeth National Park. Enjoy views of several crater lakes and the mystical Rwenzori Mountain Ranges en-route. Day 7 Wildlife Safari in Queen Elizabeth National Park

The animals in their different families, clans, and groups are out starting on their day. Notice the difference between the animals in their natural habitat and those caged in zoos. Have a game drive in Kasenyi plains in the open-roof safari cars. Proceed to Ishasha, famed for the tree-climbing lions and search for them with help of rangers. Day 8 Expedition To Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park

Today we will start our journey to the home of the gentle giants of Bwindi. This fulfilling journey takes us through the Kigezi Highlands with great scenery of terraced hills. Lunch will be along the way or at the lodge depending on the time of your arrival. You’ll lodge in or adjust to the impenetrable forest. This will offer you great resting as you prepare for the next day’s trek.
Day 9 Gorilla Trekking in Uganda

The highlight of your safari will be meeting the gentle giants of Bwindi Impenetrable National Park! Enjoy the fullness of the impenetrable forest abounding with life, host to several species of birds, butterflies, primates and mammals. Eventually, with the help of your guide who is also a park ranger. You will find yourself face to face with the enormous and rare mountain gorillas. The trekking experience takes anything from one hour (rarely) to about 8 hours to accomplish. However, you only have one hour with gorillas to capture your finest moment. Suggested activities for those not interested in gorilla tracking are a community village walk or a short guided forest walk.
Day 10 Golden Monkey trekking in Mgahinga national park

Early morning drive from Bwindi and head to Mgahinga gorilla national park. This is about 2 hours drive. Embark on golden monkey trekking. This trekk will take you to the golden monkeys, an endemic species of Mgahinga Gorilla National Park in southwestern Uganda, you will trekk through the jungles of Mgahinga National park, consisting of bamboo and a variety of indigenous plants like giant lobelia. Your ranger guide will tell you about the national park’s history and the fauna and flora that the park holds during the trekk. The trek takes about 2-3 hours, Get back to your reserved accomodation for an overnight stay.
Day 11 Lake Mburo National Park for Wildlife

The journey to Lake Mburo National Park is through beautiful landscapes, plantations, and farms. Have a visit to a Cultural Museum—exhibiting the life of the native people of the area. Have lunch/picnic at a restaurant along the way. Arrive in the park later that afternoon and take a boat trip on Lake Mburo.
Day 12 Transfer to Entebbe
After an early breakfast, we will go on a game drive in Lake Mburo National Park. We will later head to Entebbe, with a stopover at the famed Equator line. Have lunch and then proceed to the airport arriving in the afternoon.

Day 1 Drive to Sipi Falls –Eastern Circuit
You’ll be picked up at a hotel in Kampala and transferred to the Sipi Falls taking the Eastern route, driving through Mukono-Jinja-Iganga-Mbale. En route to Sipi Falls, you will be making a stopover at Ssezibwa Falls, a scenic waterfall in Mukono, it is a valuable cultural site in the Buganda Kingdom. From Ssezibwa, you will drive via Mabira Forest, Jinja –enjoy the beautiful view of the Nile River as you cross the new bridge.
Day 2 Abseiling, Hiking –Sipi Falls

Day 3 Community Tour and Coffee Tour around Mt Elgon

You will meet the local guide for a long day coffee tour at the Sipi Falls/Mt. Elgon area. Today, you will have absolutely an incredible experience with coffee growing in the Bugisu area. The guide will take you through different stages of how coffee is grown, coffee harvesting, drying stage, sorting, frying, pounding into powder, and preparing it for tea till it is served. On a coffee tour, don’t miss having a taste of Bugisu coffee while on homestay.
Day 4 Cultural and Traditional Dance, Community Walk

Day 6 Hike Mount Moroto and Drive to Kidepo Valley National Park

You’ll start the hike to the top of Moroto Mountain. This is situated in Northeastern Uganda and rises at an altitude of 3083m. It is Karamoja’s highest-extinct volcano, with three peaks –Sokodek, Imagit, and Solomon. Today, you will have a day hike through Mount Moroto, exploring the simple elevation, and descent and transfer to Kidepo.
Day 7 Hike Mount Morungole, Meet with IK People

You’ll leave the lodge for Mt. Morungole where you will start your hike to the summit to meet with the IK people. Mt. Morungole is 2750m high and offers a moderate hike and once you get to the top, meet the IK.
The Ik people also most popular as Teuso, are among the ethnic group living in Northeastern Uganda. It is one peaceful group, with about 13000 of them living in Uganda. Most popular as the Mountain People, the IK live on top of Mt. Morungole and today, you will have a deep insight into their unique traditions, cultures, hunter-gatherer practices, spiritual beliefs, and more. You will start descending from Mount Morungole summit, and transfer to the lodge for relaxation.
Day 8 Early Morning Game Drive in Kidepo Valley National Park

With an experienced guide, you’ll depart the lodge for a long day game drive through the Kidepo savanna plains. Kidepo is a spectacular wilderness area, offering truly authentic African experiences and wildlife encounters. The expected animal sightings to enjoy include African bush elephants, caracals, zebras, lions, giraffes, cape buffaloes, antelopes, and leopards plus birds. You’ll have a picnic lunch or drive back to have it at the lodge. Late in the afternoon, you’ll proceed with an evening guided nature walk with an experienced park guide.

You’ll leave Kidepo for Murchison Falls National Park which spans the 4 districts in Northwestern Uganda: Nwoya, Kiryandongo, Buliisa, and Masindi. Murchison Falls National Park is Uganda’s biggest park, spanning over 3840sq. Km, and holds over 76 mammal species, 451 species of birds, floral species, and others. En route to Murchison National Park, you’ll branch off to Aruu Falls, one of the spectacular waterfalls in Northern Uganda, and settle for lunch. Later, you’ll continue to Murchison Falls National Park.
Day 11 Murchison Falls National Park –Game Drive and Mini Hike at Top of the Falls

You’ll embark on an early morning game drive starting at 6:00 am. You will drive through the scenic northern game track, spending between 2 and 3 hours spotting animals such as waterbucks, African bush elephants, lions, leopards, giraffes, hartebeest, oribis, Uganda kobs, and bird species. In the afternoon, you will enjoy a hike to the top of the falls, and while at the top, have a good time taking photos, and watching the waterfalls while it force itself in a narrow rock of 8m.
Day 12 Morning Delta Cruise in the Nile Afternoon Boat Cruise to the Bottom of the Falls

You’ll start the day with breakfast and set off for the morning Nile Delta boat cruise. You will be watching hippos, crocodiles, and scenic view of the Nile. You’ll get back, have lunch and you will have an afternoon boat cruise to the bottom of the falls. Aquatic species such as hippos, crocodiles, and water birds will be spotted in huge numbers, and at the base of the falls, you will take pictures of the falls.
Day 13 Transfer to Budongo Forest

You’ll depart from the Northern circuit for the Southern Province to explore Budongo Forest. At Budongo, you will enjoy a guided nature walk through the Royal Mile, a rich birding spot to spot birds such as brown-chested lathe, Nahan’s francolin, white spotted greenbul, blue-breasted kingfishers, rufous-sided broadbill, chocolate-backed kingfishers, fire-crested alethe, African dwarf kingfishers.
In the evening, you will be visiting the Polish Church in Nyabyeya located near Masindi. You’ll explore the unique history behind the Polish Catholic Church. It is in this area where hundreds of Polish people died of jiggers, sickness, and hunger during World War II. The church was built by the Polish refugees next to Masindi town in the 1940s.
Day 14 Transfer to Kampala via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
After breakfast, you will be picked up at the hotel and proceed to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for rhino tracking. This is the only place where you will find rhinos in their natural habitat while in Uganda. After the 2 hours of trekking with rhinos, you’ll get back. You will be driven back to Entebbe for departure or remain in the hotel in Entebbe City.

Protecting a vast tract of tropical jungle near the Eastern base of the Rwenzori Mountains. Kibale National Park is probably the best place in Africa to see chimpanzees in their natural habitat. The so-called primate capital of East Africa is also home to a high diversity of monkeys and birds, while a scenic scattering of at least two dozen forest-fringed crater lakes provides rich scenic interest.
Guided Walk, Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary
You’ll go on a guided walk in the community-managed Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary bordering Kibale National Park. Here, you stand a good chance of spotting up to five monkey species. The forest birding is excellent with a long list of colorful regulars that includes great blue turaco, papyrus gonolek, yellow-spotted barbet, and blue-throated roller.

Boat Trip, Kazinga Channel
Boat trips on the Kazinga Channel are a wildlife viewing highlight of Queen Elizabeth National Park. Cruise past pods of grunting hippos, watch elephants and buffalo come down to drink, enjoy flocks of pelicans and other aquatic birds, catch a glimpse of the snow-capped Rowenzori peaks, and keep an eye open for the giant forest hog, a local specialty.

There are no hippos or crocodiles, so it’s safe for swimming, but wildlife lovers will enjoy the plentiful birds and the high chance of spotting swimming otters. As for activities, you can relax over a beer at a waterside restaurant, hike in the surrounding hills, or take a boat out to some of the lake’s 29 islands.
Day 10 Lake Mburo National Park

Part of the ancient Ankole Kingdom, Lake Mburo National Park is conveniently located halfway between Kampala and the GorìlIa Híghlands of southwest Uganda. Large carnivores are unlikely to be seen, but the park offers your best chance anywhere in Uganda of spotting an elusive leopard. Lake Mburo itself is home to large numbers of hippo and aquatic birds, including the localized African finfoot. Other wildlife includes buffalo, giraffe, zebra, and Uganda’s only population of the impala antelope.

Day 1 Arrival – Welcome to Uganda, the “pearl of Africa”
On arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will be received by our safari driver-guide who will introduce you to the “pearl of Africa”. You will be transferred to your booked guest house which is a 15-minute drive from the airport where you will have dinner and overnight.
Day 2 Shoebill watch at Mabamba swamp & Transfer to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

Today after your breakfast, you will visit Mabamba swamp on Lake Victoria famous for its elusive shoebill stork, on this wetland, they several other shore birds such as great cormorant, yellow billed stork, yellow billed ducks, lesser jacana, black crake, black headed gonolek, maroub stork and grey heron among others. After a successful shoebill viewing, embark on the trip to Ziwa rhino sanctuary. You traverse through the undulating hill slopes of Nakasongola before branching off at Nakitoma for 7 km to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary just 176km north of Kampala. Ziwa Rhino and Wildlife Ranch is the proud home of the only wild rhinos in Uganda following their extinction and thus offers an unforgettable Rhino tracking experience. Ziwa is the only place where you will be able to see rhinos in the wild.
Day 3 Rhino walking safari and then transfer to famous Murchison falls national park

Murchison Falls National Park in the northwest of Uganda, a journey of 311km (a drive of about 5 hours). You traverse through the undulating hill slopes of Nakasongola before branching off at Nakitoma for 7km to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary just 176km north of Kampala. a home to the only remaining wild white rhinos in Uganda following their extinction and thus offers an unforgettable rhino tracking experience. Ziwa is the only place where you will be able to see rhinos in the wild. The sanctuary is home to over 20 Southern white rhinos. The sanctuary has become increasingly popular with tourists who come for rhino trekking, bird watching, nature walks and relaxation.
After this activity, you will continue to Murchison River Lodge with a visit to top of falls where the park derives its name reaching in the later afternoon for relaxation dinner and overnight at the famous Masindi Hotel. If time allows, we will do some game drive in the park.
Day 4 Game drive and boat cruise to bottom of falls in Murchison falls national park

Wake up for an early morning game drive where you will have a chance to spot the early risers and nocturnal species before they return to their hideouts. We traverse the rolling plains of Uganda’s largest national park before returning to the lodge for breakfast.
The 3,893 sq km park is home to a range of animals. You have the chance to view some of the park’s residents including lions, giraffes, Jackson’s hartebeests, antelopes and buffalos. The bird species include shoe-billed stork, secretary bird, red-necked falcon, Heuglin’s francolin, Denham’s bustard, Senegal thick-knee and Egyptian plover.
In the afternoon, go for a boat trip to the base of Murchison Falls. The launch cruise will take you close to the falls’ base where you will be shown the spot where Ernest Hemingway’s plane crashed during a sightseeing tour to Murchison Falls in 1954. You can get off the boat and proceed on a hike up the side of the falls to the top.
Day 5 Transfer to kibale National Park

After breakfast, embark on the transfer to the Kibale National Park, a drive of about 7 hours. Traverse the rural sceneries and traditional homesteads of the Kagadi district before arriving at Kyenjojo and eventually Fort Portal town where you’ll have a hot lunch.
Drive to the lodge and take a rest before you continue along the Kibale Forest edges that harbor the greatest variety and concentration of primates found anywhere in East Africa. The park is famous for its chimpanzees. Kibale protects a remarkable 13 primate species, including the very localized red colobus and L’Hoest’s monkey, galagos, blue monkey, red-tailed and vervet monkey.
Day 6 Chimpanzee trekking and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

Kibale Forest has the highest number of recorded sightings of the green-breasted pitta, which is another sought-after bird in Uganda.
After an early breakfast, drive to Kanyanchu, the Kibale Park headquarters, by 8:00 am for a chimpanzee pre-trekking briefing by the park staff. The chimpanzee trekking experience tends to last 2 to 5 hours, including an hour of a direct encounter with these amazing creatures. In addition to chimps, Kibale Forest is home to other primates including the red-tailed and grey-cheeked mangabey, phoestes and blue and red colobus.
After the successful trekking experience, embark on your 1-hour drive to the famous Queen Elizabeth National Park, arriving in the late afternoon for relaxation at your place of residence.
Day 7 Morning game drive & boat cruise along kazinga channel at Queen elizabeth National Park

After breakfast, undertake game drive in kasenyi plains of this park where you will be able to spot elephants, lions, leopards, Buffaloes, Kobs and hippos among others
Proceed on the trip to Queen Elizabeth National Park for an afternoon boat cruise along the 45km long Kazinga Channel. The Kazinga Channel which stretches to 45km in length at one time had much concentration of Hippopotamus population in the region until the management decided to carry out culling in 1960.
You enjoy the wide views of the Nile crocodiles and other wild game quenching their thirst on the waters of Kazinga channel and flocking its shores on a hot day.
Retreat from the 2 hour activity; engage in an afternoon game drive along the channel track as you head to the lodge for relaxation.
Day 8 Transfer to Bwindi impenetrable national park

After breakfast, before you embark on the trip to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in south western part of Uganda. You undertake a game drive in this part of park searching for the tree climbing lions.
Ishasha sector is well endowed with the infamous climbing lions together with other wild game that dwell in this woodland part of the park. The tree climbing lions prefer to lie flat on fig tree branches in the mid-morning sun while waiting for their prey. After this encounter, proceed on the drive to Bwindi arriving in the evening for relaxation.
Day 9 Gorilla trekking at Bwindi impenetrable national park

After an early breakfast, you will take a packed lunch, have a briefing by the game guides at the park headquarters and start your gorilla trail. Hiking through the thick, verdant, rainforest to eventually come across the gorillas in their natural habitat, is an amazing and unforgettable experience. This encounter takes between 2 to 9 hours and is the highlight of an Africa exploration safari. You will only have 1 hour of close contact with these calm gentle apes, take pictures and get acquainted to them.
You are free to shoot as many photos as you desire before you retreat from the activity to return to the starting point. After this encounter transfer to lake Bunyonyi for relaxation.
Day 10 Transfer to lake Mburo national park

Today morning you will start your journey to lake Mburo national park reaching in time for lunch and later game viewing. This park has zebras, impalas, giraffes, buffaloes, hippos and many savannah birds. Including local farms with Ankole long horned cattle. You will retire at your lodge.
Day 11 Nature walk and transfer to Entebbe airport
Today is your last in this park. So you will start breakfast and the nature walk that will expose to a close of wild animals and avian with an armed range guide who will with you from start to the end as you embark of a drive to entebbe with enroute stop at Equator for lunch. Reaching entebbe for your scheduled journey back home.

Day 1 Transfer To Kibale National Park
Today, you will drive south to the jungle of Kibale best known as the primate capital of the world with about 13 species of primates. You will have lunch along the way. You can choose to relax at the lodge or take a guided walk in the community after the long drive.
Day 2 Chimpanzee Trekking & Transfer To Queen Elizabeth N/P

Have breakfast and head for a briefing about the chimp tracking activity. Chimpanzees are man’s closest cousins though they are one of the most threatened primate species. More primates like black and white Colobus monkeys, L’Hoest’s monkeys, grey-cheeked mangabey, red-tailed monkeys, bush babies and pottos can be seen here. Many bird species like the yellow-spotted nicator, rumped tinker bird, little greenbul, green breasted pitta, the crowned eagle and black bee-eater are also found here. You can also see mammals such as elephants in this walk. Afterwards, you’ll transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park and relax on arrival.
Day 3 Game Drive & Boat Cruise on Kazinga Channel

You’ll have a game drive in the northern part of the park on the Kasenyi Track in search of lions, elephants, and solitary buffaloes. This is the best time for opportunities to view the cats in action owing to the vast population of Uganda Kobs. We’ll have an excellent chance to view just about every animal here at a very close range. Afterwards, we’ll return to the lodge for breakfast, before heading out for a launch trip along the Kazinga Channel. This gives you the opportunity to view wildlife up close: hippo’s huff and spray at a mere feet away from the boat and buffalos linger in the shallows. The shores of the channel are also home to an array of birds including pink backed pelicans, pied and malachite kingfishers, saddle billed stork and many others.
Day 4 Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

You’ll have breakfast and be transferred to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. This journey is so interesting as you get to enjoy the scenic view of the highlands of the great Kigezi region. You’ll arrive in the evening and then check into your lodge for dinner and your overnight stay.
Day 5 Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

You’ll have an early morning breakfast and afterwards proceed to the park headquarters to have a briefing about the dos and don’ts of gorilla trekking in Bwindi. The rangers will then accompany you to the thick rainforest to start your search for the gentle giants. Trekkers are always advised to carry their raincoats and boots because the weather there is always unpredictable. There are also some potters who always help with the carrying of the luggage on behalf of the visitors but at a small extra cost. It’s always not easy to predict how long gorilla tracking will take and this also depends on the location of some families since some of them are far from the park headquarters. However, it always takes 2 to 7 hours to come into contact with them and the rangers will always be there to guide you. Trackers are also advisable to be physically fit before going for tracking. After your trek, go back to the lodge and have a late lunch(or opt for packed lunch).
Day 6 Transfer to lake Mburo National Park For Wildlife

The journey to Lake Mburo National Park is through beautiful landscapes, plantations, and farms. Have a visit to a Cultural Museum—exhibiting the life of the native people of the area. Have lunch/picnic at a restaurant along the way. Arrive in the park later that afternoon and go for an evening game drive.
Day 7 Transfer Back to Entebbe Airport
After an early breakfast, we will go on a safari walk in Lake Mburo National Park. We will later head to Entebbe, with a stopover at the famed Equator line. Have lunch and then proceed to the airport arriving in the afternoon.

Day 1 Arrival and Transfer to Your Hotel
On your arrival at Entebbe International Airport (EBB), you will be met by a Dav Safaris staff that will brief you and transfer you to your hotel for relaxation. Have dinner as you completely relax and refresh from the long jet lag and prepare for the next days’ adventure.
Day 2 Travel to Murchison Falls National Park – Visit the Top of Murchison Enroute Ziwa Rhino sanctuary

After breakfast, you will be picked by our company representative and kick start this day’s nature adventure with an exciting road trip to Murchison Falls National Park. Along the way, you will make a stop at the Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary where rhinos are being reintroduced to the wild in Uganda so that you have a complete feel of the African Big Five mammals. It is the rhinos, out of the Big Five that are missing in Murchison Falls National Park. You will have lunch at the sanctuary and some relaxation for an indefinitely short time and embark on an exciting road trip to Murchison Falls. Upon arrival inside the park, you will be amazed by the beautiful landscape while occasionally sighting warthogs and other wildlife with a drive to the top of the falls whose views are breathtaking.
Day 3 Game Drive through the Park and Boat Ride on the Victoria Nile

After your early morning breakfast, our driver guide picks you up for the early game drive. Explore the major game trails especially around the area of Paraa for good game spotting including lots of elephants, lions, giraffes, antelopes, jackals, hyenas, Uganda kobs, waterbucks, Jackson’s hartebeests and hopefully the elusive leopards among others.
Later on, return to the lodge for your lunch and some relaxation for an indefinite short time. Later, we’ll set out for the afternoon boat ride on the Victoria Nile which is the highlight of any Murchison Falls safari. You’ll get to spot lots of animals at a close encounter. You will have to spot lots of hippos, Nile crocodiles, elephants, buffaloes, and many other animals that come to drink water, refresh and cool themselves off the scorching sun. Some animals also come to eat the fresh grass along the river banks.
Day 4 Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park

Have breakfast and depart with your packed lunch to Kibale National Park. This scenic drive takes about 8 hours. You will pass close to Lake Albert. On a clear day, the view on the top of the Albert Rift is spectacular. Pass through Fort Portal town arriving late in the evening for relaxation at the lodge.
Day 5 Chimpanzee Tracking Tour in Kibale Forest, Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After early breakfast, you will transfer to the park offices to meet the ranger guides for pre-trek briefing. Afterwards, you will set off to trek into forest to track a community of chimpanzees. While you trek through the forest you will observe plenty of other wildlife. Other primates which you may spot include red Colobus monkey, L’Hoest monkey, grey-cheeked mangabey, and vervet monkeys. The bird lovers spot many forest specials from a total of 335 bird species recorded in the forest. The chimps which will be swinging through trees with so much speed, pant hooting, slapping the tree barks and screaming to locate each other. It is an adrenaline giving atmosphere and a memorable experience. You will then return to the lodge for lunch.
Later in the day, you shall transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park where you will view wildlife and amazing landscapes en-route as you transfer to the lodge for relaxation.
Day 6 Tree-climbing Lions in Ishasha to Bwindi

On this day, you will transfer to the land of gorillas through the Ishasha Sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park on the way. This area is known for its tree-climbing lions. Lunch will ne en-route.
In Ishasha, we will drive off in this adventurous vast savannah area with topis and the southern version of elephants to hopefully get to see the lions high in the fig tree branches. You will arrive late evening in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park for relaxation.
Day 7 Trekking Mountain Gorillas in Bwindi National Park-Batwa Community Walk

After breakfast and briefing by park ranger guides, depart with picnic lunch boxes to start trekking. This activity can last up to 4 hours or more to find the mountain gorillas as you hike up and down slippery slopes with dense mist covered vegetation. Hence you will have packed lunch for this activity. This active quest will eventually bring you to the face of one of the most sought after creatures, the mountain gorillas.
Upon reaching them, you will have a full hour with them while observing and learning their behavior as you take photos. Later, return to the lodge for a relaxed evening.
Day 8 Transfer from Bwindi to Kigali Airport
After breakfast at your pace, you will check out and be transferred to Kigali city with a stopover for lunch and a calculation of other stopovers for photography and scenic views as dictated by you. You will have a chance to visit the Genocide Museum in Kigali with refreshments and relaxation moments in the city. You will later transfer to Kigali International Airport in the evening to readily catch an evening air transfer back home. This will mark the end of your 8 days African wilderness.

After breakfast at your lodge, you will set off for Kibale Forest National Park. The park is a primate haven with over 13 primate species and unique birds. You’ll drive through the beautiful scenery and tea plantations.
You’ll arrive in the park and have lunch at the lodge. After lunch, you’ll go for a walk in the Bigodi wetland in the afternoon. You will meet different people who stay there, who weave baskets, and iron smelters. You’ll also see different birds like the Great Blue Turacos and more primates like baboons, among others. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at your lodge.
Day 3 Chimpanzee Tracking and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

You’ll have an early breakfast and depart from the lodge for the park headquarters in Kanyanchu with enough bottled drinking water, where you will be briefed about chimpanzee tracking. After the briefing, you will embark on tracking through the forest at around 8:00 am, guided by an armed park ranger.
You will have an amazing time with the chimpanzees in their natural habitat. You will also see other primates like grey-cheeked Mangabeys, L’Hoest’s monkeys, butterflies, and some of the forest’s unique birds, among others.
After returning to the lodge, you’ll have lunch and depart for Queen Elizabeth National Park. You’ll check in at your lodge for dinner and a night’s stay.
Day 4 Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Boat Cruise on Kazinga Channel

You will rise to the singing of the birds, you will have breakfast at 6:00 am, after which you will immediately start off the game drive, to be able to see the early risers like the lions, solitary buffaloes, Kobs, elephants, and leopards in the Kasenyi plains.
Later, you’ll drive back to the lodge for lunch and get ready for the afternoon boat cruise on the Kazinga channel, which is home to various species like birds such as kingfishers, pink-backed pelicans, and animals like crocodiles, elephants, hippos, and many more. Cruising on the Kazinga is one of the most eye-catching activities in the park. You’ll return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 5 Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park through Ishasha Sector

You’ll have breakfast and after transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park, passing through the Ishasha sector, which is home to tree-climbing lions. The park has a reputation as a world heritage site and houses the largest population of Mountain gorillas and other flora and fauna.
You will do a mini-game drive in Ishasha as you search for the tree-climbing lions and other wildlife like topis, elephants, and birds. You’ll arrive in Bwindi and check in at your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 6 Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

You’ll have breakfast early in the morning at around 6:30 am and transfer to the park headquarters with a packed lunch, where you will be briefed by the Park rangers as you also get entertained by the local community group. By 8:00 am, you will be accompanied by the park rangers as you enter the mist-covered forest to track mountain gorillas.
You must be fit enough and also consider using porters to carry your luggage, just in case you need them, and you pay them a small amount of money for labor. Tracking may take between 2 and 7 hours, and the moment you see and start interacting with the gorillas, only one hour is allowed to you.
After tracking, you’ll return to the lodge to unwind and later in the evening take a walk in various communities, such as the Batwa and Bakiga communities, where you will interact with them and learn a lot about their culture. Later, you’ll return to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 7 Drive back to Kampala/Departure
After your breakfast, you’ll leave the park and drive to Kampala, via vast highlands, where you will be in line to see the beautiful scenic views found in this area. You will enjoy a lunch stop at Igongo Cultural Centre. Thereafter, you’ll continue to Kampala with another stop at the equator for the equator experiment and photo moment.
Your driver-guide will either leave you at your accommodation facility in Kampala or take you to the Airport in Entebbe, just in case you want to return home on the same day.

Day 1 Arrival and Transfer to your Hotel

Day 2 Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park

Extending over 260sqkm, Lake Mburo is Uganda’s smallest savannah park. The park is an underrated gem, usually bypassed by many because of its low count on the Big Five, but it is increasingly becoming an overnight spot to break the long journey between the southwest and Kampala. You’ll drive about 4 hours to the park, check in at our lodge. Later in the afternoon, you’ll go for a walk in the park. The walk gets you close to animals like impalas, zebras, buffaloes, and giraffes as you walk with a ranger. You’ll return to the lodge for an overnight stay.
Day 3 Morning Biking Safari and Transfer to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park

Today, you’ll be unusually watching wildlife, not the traditional game drive, but an exploration on 2 wheels. You’ll do a 2-hour safari at your own pace using mountain bikes and go off the beaten tracks and look for wildlife, and learn more details that are missed while in vehicles. Afterward, you’ll transfer to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park.
Day 4 Golden Monkey Tracking and Relaxation Cruise on Lake Mutanda

The zig-zag outline of the Virunga volcanoes dominates the southern part of the Kigezi Landscape. Today, after breakfast, you’ll ascend through the contrasting vegetation and search for the golden monkeys. The golden monkeys are the second-best thing to do at Mgahinga after gorillas. After seeing these primates, you’ll drive to Lake Mutanda and have a cruise on the lake before returning to the lodge.
Day 5 Do the Batwa Trail and Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park (Rushaga)

The Batwa are a minority ethnic group in Uganda, and Mgahinga is the epitome of the trail. You’ll visit the Old People of the Forest, walk with them on a trail through the park as they show you how they used to survive in the park before eviction, and walk up the Ngarama caves. After the walk, you’ll drive to the lodge for lunch. In case of a transfer, you’ll transfer to the lodge.
Day 6 Gorilla Tracking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Uganda’s single most important tourist hotspot is the 331 sq km Bwindi forest that covers a rugged landscape of steep hills and valleys abutting the Congolese border south of the Ishasha sector. The forest provides shelter to some of Africa’s diverse mammalian fauna that includes half the population of mountain gorillas, and the main activity here is gorilla tracking. Today, you’ll drive to the head offices of Bwindi Forest Park for orientation and a briefing before you hit the trails for an amazing encounter with the mountain gorillas. The activity can last 3-8 hours, depending on the location of the gorillas. When you return, you’ll receive your certificates and return to the lodge.
Day 7 Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park (Ishasha Sector)

Queen Elizabeth National Park is in the north of Bwindi. The first sector (Buhoma) is just 62km, but Rushaga is a far distance. Today, after breakfast, you’ll drive to Queen Elizabeth’s national park, Ishasha sector, which is famous for tree-climbing lions. You’ll drive through the eastern part of Bwindi, in Ruhija, and arrive at the lodge in the afternoon. You’ll have an overnight and await the morning for adventure and search for the tree-climbing lions.
Day 8 Morning Game Drive and Cruise on the Kazinga Channel

Ishasha is somewhat removed from the rest of the park and is famous for tree-climbing lions. Mostly those intent on seeing the lions up in the tree, it usually happens during the heat of the day. After breakfast, you’ll set out for a drive and look out for the tree-climbing lions (main target) and also see what the south plains have to give. After, you’ll drive north for a boat safari on the Kazinga Channel.
Day 9 Morning Game Drive in Kasenyi and Transfer to Kibale National Park

Today is a big game day in Queen Elizabeth National Park. You’ll have an early breakfast and drive to the Kasenyi plains for a morning game drive. The area is crisscrossed by a labyrinthine network of wildlife viewing roads in the short-grass savannah. You’ll drive through in search of resident lion prides, leopards, elephants, herds of kobs, buffaloes, singing birds, and others of the 95 mammals in the park. Afterward, you’ll leave for Kibale Forest. You’ll have lunch en route.
Day 10 Chimpanzee Tracking and Bigodi Wetland Walk

The highlight of any visit to Kibale is the chimpanzee tracking excursion that leaves twice a day at 8.00 am and 2:00 pm. You shall opt for a morning walk in the forest for chimpanzee tracking, and this will be after your breakfast. Chimpanzees are well habituated and allow approach within 8-10m of individuals that will be feeding and others grooming. Guides will lead you after the briefing takes a maximum of about 4 hours, including the 1 hour you are allowed for watching. You can carry your packed lunch. After lunch, you’ll have an afternoon walk at Bigodi community walk, which will give you an understanding of the communities around the park and also chances for watching the life outside the park.
Day 11 Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

You’ll have an early breakfast and check out for our transfer to Murchison Falls National Park. It is a long drive but scenic as it goes through the floor of the rift valley past Lake Albert. You’ll have lunch en route. Depending on your arrival time, you’ll visit the top of the falls. You’ll continue to the lodge for an overnight stay.
Day 12 Game Drive and Victoria Nile Boat Ride

The bulk of the park’s wildlife is concentrated on the northern bank, and there are established circuits of tracks for game drives. You’ll drive through in search of wildlife from the lion prides here, leopards, hippos, elephants, hyenas, kobs, warthogs, among others. Afterward, you’ll return to the lodge for lunch, before the boat safari. Boat safaris start from Paraa, following the Victoria Nile east or west. You’ll do a 3-hour return launch trip to the base of the falls eastwards along the archetypal stretch of the Nile before docking on a stone bay a few meters away from the gushing waterfall. The wild and birdlife is reliably stunning. You’ll meet your guide before going to the lodge.
Day 13 Transfer to Kampala via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

After breakfast, you’ll check out and drive to Kampala. You’ll have a stop at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for on-foot rhino tracking. Rhinos are vulnerable, and the only place in Uganda where one can see them in a wild setting is at this sanctuary. You’ll have a guided walk and encounter the rhinos. After having lunch, you’ll continue to Kampala, arriving late evening.
Day 14 Kampala City Tour and Transfer to the Airport for Departure
Today, you’ll have a tour around the city and visit some key areas. You’ll visit the Old Kampala mosque, the Buganda kingdom palace and parliament, the Uganda museum, and have a local dish for lunch. Afterward, you’ll visit the local craft market, if you would like to have some souvenirs. You’ll transfer to the airport for the exit flight.

Day 1 Transfer to Ziwa Rhino Trekking and Continue to Murchison Falls National Park
After breakfast at your accommodation in Kampala/Entebbe, you’ll embark on the trip to Murchison Falls National Park in the north of Uganda, a journey of 311km about a 5-hour drive. You’ll traverse through the undulating hill slopes of Nakasongola before branching off at Nakitoma for 7 km to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary just 176km north of Kampala. Ziwa Rhino and Wildlife Ranch is the proud home of the only wild rhinos in Uganda following their extinction and thus offers an unforgettable rhino tracking experience. Ziwa is the only place where you will be able to see rhinos in the wild. Presently the sanctuary is home to over twenty (20) southern white Rhinos. The sanctuary has become increasingly popular with tourists; for rhino trekking, bird watching, nature walks, and relaxation. After a walking safari, you will continue on the drive to Murchison Falls National Park and visit the top of the falls where the park derives its name from.
Day 2 Game Drive and Boat Cruise in Murchison Falls National Park

You will wake up very early in the morning to go for a morning game drive where you will have a chance to spot early risers and nocturnal species before they return to their hideouts. This is the most beautiful national park in Uganda and this is because it hosts 4/5 of the Big Five animals and also also home to one of the most beautiful and powerful falls in the world so far.
Today, you will have a chance to view some of the park’s residents including lions, giraffes, Jackson’s hartebeests, antelopes, buffalo, and elephants.
For the birders, you will enjoy a cock tail of them as these areas support the secretary bird and the black-chested snake eagle, to name a few.
In the afternoon, you’ll go for a boat trip to the base of Murchison Falls, where the Nile thunders through a small 7-meter gorge plunging 43 meters into the Nile on the way to Lake Albert.
After the cruise, you will drive back to the lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 3 Transfer to Kibale National Park

After breakfast, you will embark on the transfer to Kibale National Park known as the primate capital of the world about a 5-7 hours’ drive traversing the rural sceneries and traditional homesteads of Kagadi district where you visit tea plantations if time allows. You’ll reach Fort Portal in the afternoon. On arrival, you will visit the community to learn the daily lifestyle of the people living in this region where you will participate in coffee making. After this encounter, you will drive to your lodge reaching in the late evening.
Day 4 Morning Chimpanzee Trekking and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After an early breakfast, you’ll drive to Kanyanchu, Kibale Park Headquarters, by 8:00 am for a chimpanzee pre-trekking briefing by the park staff. The chimpanzee trekking experience tends to last 2–5 hours and includes one hour of direct encounters with these amazing creatures.
In addition to chimps, Kibale forest is home to other primates including the red-tailed and grey-cheeked Mangabey, Phoestes, and blue and red-Colobuses. There are many beautiful bird species, butterflies, and many small insects as well.
After a successful trek, you’ll transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Day 5 Game Drive and Launch Cruise along Kazinga Channel

After breakfast, you’ll undertake a game drive in the Kasenyi plains. You will be able to spot elephants, lions, leopards, buffaloes, kobs, and hippos among others.
You’ll proceed on the trip to Queen Elizabeth National Park for an afternoon boat cruise along the 45 km-long Kazinga Channel. The Kazinga Channel which stretches to 45km in length at one time had much concentration of hippopotamus population in the region until the management decided to carry out culling in 1960.
You’ll enjoy the wide views of the Nile crocodiles and other wild game quenching their thirst on the waters of the Kazinga channel and flocking its shores on a hot day.
You will retreat from the 2-hour activity; and engage in an afternoon game drive along the channel track as you head to the lodge for relaxation, dinner, and overnight stay.
Day 6 Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After breakfast, before you embark on the trip to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park in the southwestern part of Uganda. You’ll undertake a game drive in this part of the park searching for the tree-climbing lions.
Ishasha sector is well endowed with the infamous climbing lions together with other wild game that dwell in this woodland part of the park. The tree-climbing lions prefer to lie flat on fig tree branches in the mid-morning sun while waiting for their prey. After this encounter, you will proceed on the drive to Bwindi arriving in the evening for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.
Day 7 Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After an early breakfast, you will take a packed lunch, have a briefing by the game guides at the park headquarters, and start your gorilla trail. Hiking through the thick, verdant, rainforest to eventually come across the gorillas in their natural habitat, is an unforgettable experience. This encounter takes between 2 to 9 hours and is the highlight of an Africa exploration safari. You will only have 1 hour of close contact with these calm gentle apes, take pictures, and get acquainted with them.
You are free to shoot as many photos as you desire before you retreat from the activity to return to the starting point. After this encounter, you’ll transfer to Lake Bunyonyi for relaxation.
Day 8 Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park

In the morning, you will set off on a scenic drive to Lake Mburo National Park, reaching in the afternoon for lunch. After lunch, you’ll go for an afternoon boat cruise on Lake Mburo, where you will be rewarded with a view of the game as hippos, and crocodiles, as well as a variety of bird species. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at Rwakobo Rock Lodge.
Day 9 Transfer to Entebbe for Departure
Early morning, you will go for a guided nature walk with an armed ranger guide around the park where you will have a chance to walk and see wildlife at close range, antelopes, giraffes, giraffes, buffalos, bushbucks, impalas among others. You will then exit the park and proceed to Entebbe Airport for your connecting journey back home. You will also make a stop at Uganda Equator Crossing Kayabwe for an amazing photo session for memories and lunch.

You will be cleared at the entry and proceed to your accommodation for check-in. Kidepo National Park is very beautiful with incredible views of the mountains and hills.
Day 4 Explore Kidepo Valley National Park

After breakfast, you will drive to the wild for your morning game drive and explore the park in Narus Valley. After lunch, you will go for a game drive in Kidepo Valley in anticipation of seeing some of the animals— the ostrich birds. You’ll also visit the hot springs of Kanangorok before you return to your lodge. You’ll spend the rest of the evening in the community at the Karamojong village.
Day 5 Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park

After breakfast in the morning, you will embark on your journey to Murchison Falls National Park. It’s quite a long drive from Kidepo National Park —about 6 to 7 hours. Along the way, you will have a stopover in Gulu town for lunch and proceed with the journey to the park. Upon arrival, you will check in at the lodge and spend the rest of the day at leisure.
Day 6 Murchison Falls National Park and Game Drives and Boat Cruises

Today, you’ll enjoy an early morning breakfast at the lodge and head out for the 2-hour game drive in Uganda’s largest park. It has a wide range of wildlife species such as leopards, hippos, lions, warthogs, cape buffaloes, African elephants, antelopes, Rothschild’s giraffes, waterbucks, and various bird species. After the game drive, you’ll transfer back to the lodge for lunch and some relaxation. Then, you’ll have a 3-hour launch cruise on the River Nile where you will spot several wildlife species along the banks such as African elephants, hippos, Nile crocodiles, antelopes, monkeys, and water bird species. You’ll ride towards the bottom of the falls where you will hike to the top of the fall for about 1 hour and 30 minutes. Afterward, you will retire to your lodge for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 7 Transfer to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary

You will wake up early in the morning and have breakfast. Then, you will check out from the lodge and drive through the park to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. Here, you will trek into the savannah for a close view of the rhinos. From there, you will have lunch and proceed to Hoima town for dinner and an overnight stay.
Day 8 Transfer to Kibale National Park and Bigodi Swamp

After breakfast, you will embark on a road trip to Kibale National Park. You will arrive there in the afternoon for lunch and some relaxation at the lodge. In the evening, you will go for a nature walk through the Bigodi wetland where you will spot birds, olive baboons, bush babies, and sitatunga among other wildlife species.
Day 9 Kibale Forest Chimpanzee Trekking Safari in Uganda and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

After breakfast, you will transfer to the park offices for briefing and then set out for chimpanzee trekking through the dense forest. Keep this in mind that only 1 hour is given to visitors when they encounter face to face with the chimpanzees. Besides chimpanzees, other primate species can be spotted like the red-tailed monkeys, blue monkeys, black, LHoest’s monkeys, and white colobus monkeys. Also, there are African elephants, antelopes, and Cape buffaloes. From there, you’ll head back to the lodge for lunch and some relaxation. After the chimpanzee trekking, you will transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park.
Day 10 Game Drive and Boat Cruise in Queen Elizabeth National Park

Today after your breakfast, you will set out for an early morning game drive through Queen Elizabeth Park. You will be spotting various wildlife species like waterbucks, lions, African elephants, hartebeests, Rothschild’s giraffes, antelopes, cape buffaloes, leopards, and warthogs, and also view different crater lakes. After the 3-hour drive, you will transfer back for lunch. Then, you will prepare for the afternoon 2-hour launch cruise along the Kazinga channel which has the highest concentration of hippos in the world. This comes along with several bird species and animals like Nile crocodiles, African elephants, and antelopes among others.
Day 11 Transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park through Ishasha Sector for the Tree-Climbing Lions

On this day, you will wake up early in the morning and head out for another game drive. This will give you a chance to see animals in their families, distinctive clans, and groups. The talk about these gentle giants claims that 98% of DNA is close to that of the human race. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is home to half of the world’s total population of mountain gorillas and other species like primates, mammals, and reptiles, among others. After the briefing at the headquarters, you will be led by the ranger guide into the jungle to search for the mountain gorillas. This experience usually takes 2 hours to about 8 hours being that gorillas move differently, and only 1 hour is granted to visitors to have a glimpse of the gorillas. In case you are not interested in mountain gorillas trekking, you can have a short guided forest walk or a village walk to the Batwa community. After the adventure, you will embark on the drive towards Lake Bunyonyi, which is Africa’s second-deepest lake and a birder’s destination. You’ll enjoy the beautiful views of the landscapes like the locally terraced interlocking hills where most locals carry out their crop cultivation.
Day 13 Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park- The Zebra Magnet

You will have a stopover for lunch in Mbarara town. The road trip will go through stunning sceneries, farms, markets, and plantations. The park is a habitat for a large number of zebras, impalas, oribis, Cape buffalos, warthogs, and waterbucks with over 332 bird species. Upon arrival at the park in the afternoon, you will head for a boat cruise along Lake Mburo.
Day 14 Morning Walking Safari and Transfer to Entebbe via the Equator Line
After an early breakfast, you will go for a morning walking safari in Lake Mburo National Park. This park is famous for zebras, impalas, giraffes, elands, Cape buffalos, and many tropical bird species. You will check out of the hotel and transfer to Entebbe International Airport as you say farewell to the pearl of Africa. Day 1 Pick Up and Transfer to Murchison Falls via Rhino Tracking in Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
Your driver-guide will pick you up from the Entebbe International Airport or your hotel in Entebbe/Kampala and transfer you to Murchison Falls National Park. You will have the chance to see lion, giraffe, hartebeest, buffalo, and elephant. You will experience Murchison Falls, the most powerful waterfall in the world. Murchison Falls is a birder’s paradise, boasting 450 bird species, including the elusive shoebill stork (though a rare sighting), dwarf kingfisher, the white-thighed hornbill and the goliath heron, among others.
En route, make a stopover at Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary for your first Big Five experience, where you will have an hour of rhino tracking. After this, you will have your lunch at Kabalega Dinner. Continue to the park and check into your accommodation to relax for the evening as you prepare for the next day’s big adventures.
Day 2 Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Launch Cruise to the Bottom of Murchison Falls

Have an early breakfast, then tour the northern section of Murchison, which carries a high concentration of wildlife. Enjoy game viewing and photography of elephants, buffaloes, waterbucks, giraffes, Uganda kobs, lions, and leopards plus a variety of bird species. Return to your accommodation for lunch as you prepare to have a 3-hour boat trip to the base of the falls. This trip is said to be the highlight of the safari in Murchison Falls since it allows you to get up close to the animal species in the water. Cruise past huge hippo pods, crocodiles and numerous aquatic birds adorning the north bank on the way to the mighty waterfalls.
Optionally, proceed for a hike to the top of the falls. The hike is a strenuous one but the thrill of reaching the top is unforgettable. Return to your accommodation for dinner and your overnight stay.
Day 3 Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park

After breakfast at your accommodation, drive to the top of the falls (if you didn’t hike), where you will have a spectacular view of the falls. Otherwise, depart directly for Kibale Forest National Park after breakfast.
Kibale is popular for its primates like chimpanzees, Colobus monkeys, mangabeys and red-tailed monkeys. On your chimpanzee trails, these are regularly seen swinging in the forest trees and others feeding on the wild fruits. You will reach your accommodation and do little but check in. Enjoy dinner and your overnight rest.
Day 4 Chimpanzee Trekking and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park

You will head to the forest head office for a briefing. Thereafter, start your trek with a ranger as early as 8:00 am. Kibale Forest National Park boasts the highest number of primate species in the world, including chimpanzees. Approximately 5,000 chimpanzees live in the wild in Uganda, which makes it a perfect place to spot them!
Once you locate the chimpanzees, you will have a full hour with them. You will return to the lodge for lunch after which you will head out to Queen Elizabeth National Park. You will arrive in the evening and overnight at your booked accommodation.
Day 5 Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Kazinga Channel Boat Cruise

Today, you will have a game drive and a boat trip on the Kazinga Channel. Early in the morning, you will go out for a game drive through the park, with magnificent views of the plains, valleys, terraced hills and an abundance of wildlife. The animals include reedbuck, bushbuck, kob, warthog, elephant, lion, buffalo and so much more. Have a break and relax as you have lunch served at the lodge.
The afternoon adventure entails a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel, a natural water stream joining Lake Edward and Lake George. The channel attracts a large school of hippos and Nile crocodiles, besides the variety of birds that flock to the reed shores like the pelicans, kingfishers, saddle-billed storks and sometimes the crowned cranes. Return to your accommodation in time for your dinner.
Day 6 Transfer To Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

Have breakfast, then set off for Bwindi Impenetrable National Park through the Ishasha Sector of Queen Elizabeth National Park, famously known for its resident tree-climbing lions. The chance of spotting these lions is about 70%, though sometimes they are really hard to spot.
Continue to Bwindi National Park. Bwindi is a large habitat for mountain gorillas in Uganda, harbouring an estimated 1,000 mountain gorillas, roughly half of the world’s population. It includes several habituated groups, which can be tracked. Its mist-covered hillsides are blanketed by one of Uganda’s oldest and most biologically diverse rainforests, which dates back over 25,000 years and contains almost 400 species of plants. With a strenuous day ahead, you will do less on arrival but just check into your accommodation and relax as you prepare for the Bwindi gorilla trekking experience the following day.
Day 7 Gorilla Trekking Experience

After an early breakfast and a briefing by a ranger guide, you will enter the impenetrable Bwindi Forest. The beauty of this rainforest is spectacular! The area offers a dramatic steeply forested landscape and is incredibly dense, but crisscrossed by numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists. The time taken and the terrain varies with the movements of these great primates. Once you locate a gorilla group, you will be allowed an hour in their presence. The thrill of spending time observing these gentle and endangered giants is an awesome, exciting experience to be long-savoured.
Afterwards, return to your lodge. Have your lunch and thereafter, check out for a transfer to Lake Bunyonyi. Lake Bunyonyi is framed by lush, green-terraced hills that reach a height of 2,200 – 2,478m, but it’s the 29 islands of various shapes and sizes scattered across the water that make it most magical—you could admire them all day. It’s also considered the 3rd deepest lake in Africa at 900m deep.
Day 8 Depart to Entebbe for Your Flight Home
Have a relaxed breakfast at the accommodation with a spectacular view of the little islands of Bunyonyi just right in front of you. Thereafter, embark on your return journey to Entebbe Airport. Expect en-route stopovers for lunch along the way as well as at the Uganda equator line. Proceed with the journey, arriving in the late afternoon/evening for drop-off at the airport. This will mark the end of your amazing tour in Uganda.

Day 1 Transfer from Entebbe to Murchison Falls National Park via Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary
We will pick you up at the guest house in Entebbe or downtown Kampala at 8:00 am and transfer you to Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary. Rhinos got extinct in Uganda in the early 1980s, and the Ziwa site is being used as a breeding site for the white rhinos. Spend about 2 hours trekking the rhinos. Afterwards, we will proceed to Murchison Falls National Park.
Day 2 Game Drives and Nile River Boat Trip at Murchison Falls National Park

In the morning, you will go for a game drive in the park to spot elephants, lions, giraffes, and other wildlife. In the afternoon, you will take a relaxing boat trip on the River Nile. Here you will have a chance to see crocodiles, hippos, and a range of rare birds. You will also see the point where the River Nile flows towards Lake Albert, one of the major highlights of this trip. Dinner and your overnight stay are at Murchison Falls.
Day 3 Drive to the Top of Murchison Falls & Transfer to Kibale National Park (6-hour Drive)

This trip will take you to upper Murchison Falls National Park, where you have spectacular views of Murchison Falls along the Nile River. Note that because of the current flooding of the Nile, it’s no longer possible to hike to the top of the falls from downstream. The visit to the top of the falls will be driving through the new tarmac road. After the top of the falls visit, drive to Kibale National Park. The drive to Kibale National Park will go through western Uganda’s major cities, including Hoima, Kyenjojo, and Fort Portal. There will be a scheduled stopover for lunch along the way. The drive should take about 6-7 hours. Dinner and your overnight stay are at Kibale National Park.
Day 4 Chimp Trek at Kibale and Transfer to Queen Elizabeth NP for the Kazinga Channel Boat Trip

Starting in the morning at Kibale Forest National Park, you will go into the forest to encounter chimpanzees and different species of monkeys like the red-tailed monkey, olive baboon, and black and white Columbus monkey. After chimp trekking, we will drive for 3hrs to Queen Elizabeth National Park. On arrival at Queen Elizabeth National Park, join the Kazinga channel boat trip. The Kazinga Channel boat cruise provides an opportunity to spot crocodiles, buffaloes, elephants, and bird species on the channel waters. After the boat trip, drive to the lodge for check-in, dinner and overnight.
Day 5 Short Kasenyi Game Drives and Transfer to Bwindi National Park

We will start the day with a short game drive in the Kasenyi Plains of Queen Elizabeth National Park. Kasenyi plains dwell in the vast savannahs of the Albertine Rift in Queen Elizabeth National Park. It will be a morning full of adventure! Expect to encounter lions, herds of buffalos, elephants, Uganda kobs, topi, and bushbucks. While spotting the “Big Five” in the park is not guaranteed, on a lucky day, you may site leopards to make it to the “Big Four.” After the game drive, we will start the journey to Bwindi National Park. The drive to Bwindi National Park is estimated to take about 5-6hrs.
Day 6 Gorilla Trekking at Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

You will head to the Bwindi Impenetrable National Park gate immediately. After breakfast, get a briefing about the gorilla trek. The national park guide will conduct a presentation that covers the basics of what to expect during the gorilla trek. The national guide will assign the gorilla trekking group during the pre-trekking briefing. Other visitors will likely join you. The gorilla trek can take a few hours, depending on how far the gorillas are inside the forest. In the afternoon, you may consider doing a Batwa Cultural Tour and contributing to sustainable tourism efforts in the area. An extra payment of USD 30 is expected to support the Batwa community.
Day 7 Transfer from Bwindi to Lake Mburo National Park for Night Game Drive

Transfer from Bwindi National Park to Lake Mburo National Park on this day. In the evening, a night game drive is planned at Lake Mburo National Park to spot leopards (not 100% guaranteed) and other wildlife in Uganda’s smallest savannah park. Dinner and overnight at Lake Mburo National Park.
Day 8 Transfer from Lake Mburo National Park to Entebbe via the Equator Crossing
Start the day with an early breakfast followed by a game drive at Lake Mburo National Park to spot additional wildlife. And then start a drive to Entebbe International Airport. If interested, a stopover is scheduled at the Equator crossing to grab coffee and shop for handicrafts. After the stopover, continue with the drive to Entebbe. The estimated drive time to Entebbe is 5hrs. The estimated arrival time should be sufficient to check in for the flight if you have a flight departing Entebbe in the evening.

This day is for a game drive on the plains of Queen Elizabeth. It is home to thousands of Ugandan kobs, lions, elephants, buffalos, hippos, tree-climbing lions, etc. Also on the program is a 2-hour launch trip on the Kazinga Channel, where we will see all the animals from the waterside.
Day 7 To Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

In the morning, we leave for the south of Bwindi. For people who like to walk, the first 14km is a stunning, beautiful walk along the lakeshore and hills. We pass mountains, hills and lakes with cultivated terraces, tropical rainforests and bamboo forests.
Day 8 Gorilla Trekking
All meals included.
This is the day for gorilla trekking. At 7:45 am, you will be at the Bwindi Impenetrable Forest office for a pre-briefing, and at 8:30 am, you will start the trek. After finding the gorillas, you will spend a maximum of 1 hour with them. All visitors are expected back at the starting point by 7 pm. Being physically fit is recommended.
Day 9 To Lake Mburo National Park

You will leave early in the morning for Lake Mburo National Park. You will have lunch in the Igongo Cultural Centre in Mbarara before continuing on your trip. Lake Mburo National Park is a smaller but unique park, the only one in the western part of Uganda with impalas and zebras.
Day 10 To Entebbe Airport
You will go for a game walk early in the morning. After a late breakfast, the last part of the journey will bring you back to Kampala or Entebbe Airport. You will stop in Masaka for lunch, then continue with a stopover at the equator for a tea or coffee break and to buy souvenirs.

Day 1 Arrival in Uganda

Day 2 From the Skies to the Mountains

Today, you’ll rise with the sun and head to Entebbe Airport for a domestic flight over Uganda’s breathtaking landscapes. As your plane touches down at Kasese airstrip, your expert guide will be waiting to lead you into the heart of Uganda’s pristine wilderness. En route to Kibale Lodge, stop at the Rwenzori Sculpture Foundation. Here, the creative spirit of Uganda’s clans is celebrated through striking sculptures that echo the ancient traditions of the region.
Arriving at Kibale Lodge, you’ll be greeted with panoramic views of the snow-dusted Rwenzori Mountains and the sprawling plains of Queen Elizabeth National Park. In the afternoon, visit a local school and witness the transformative work of the Roots and Shoots program, which fosters the development of women leaders in conservation. Day 3 Chimpanzees in the Kibale Forest

Rise early for an exhilarating trek into the Kibale Forest, the world-renowned primate capital. Suddenly, there they are, swinging gracefully between the trees, their energy palpable. Watching these intelligent creatures in their natural habitat is a moment that will stay with you forever.
In the afternoon, wander through the Bigodi Wetland, a paradise for bird lovers and nature enthusiasts. With luck, you’ll spot the elusive red colobus monkeys or the sitatunga antelope, as well as stunning birds like the great blue turaco. Day 4 Exploring Kibale

Today offers another opportunity to connect with the captivating chimpanzees of Kibale. Each encounter is unique, and the forest is alive with possibilities. Keep your eyes peeled for the diverse wildlife that calls this jungle home, from the playful olive baboons to the delicate bushbabies that peek out from the shadows.

Day 5 Journey at Kyambura

After a leisurely breakfast, your journey continues to Kyambura Gorge Lodge, perched on the edge of Queen Elizabeth National Park. As you travel through the park, keep your camera ready for sightings of lions, leopards, elephants, and the majestic Uganda kob. After lunch, set out on a hike along the Fig Tree Trail, descending into the mystical Kyambura Gorge. This deep, lush chasm feels like stepping into another world, where a small group of chimps – known as the “Lost Chimpanzees of Kyambura” – live in isolation. Though sightings can be unpredictable, the sheer beauty of the gorge is reward enough.
On your return, review camera trap footage to uncover the nocturnal mysteries of the wildlife that roams the gorge. You will overnight at Kyambura Gorge Lodge, where the day’s discoveries enrich your dreams.
Day 6 Boat Cruise on the Kazinga

As dawn breaks over the savannah, embark on an early morning game drive through the Kasenyi plains. Lions stalk their prey, elephants move in majestic herds, and leopards prowl the scrubby thickets, waiting to be spotted. Accompanied by a member of the Kyambura Wildlife Team, you’ll learn about the crucial lion monitoring project that protects these iconic predators.
In the afternoon, take to the water for a wildlife cruise along the Kazinga Channel. The waters teem with life; hippos bob lazily while elephants and buffaloes gather at the shore to drink. End the day with cocktails on the lodge veranda, watching the sun dip behind the gorge, casting a golden glow over the landscape. You will overnight at Kyambura Gorge Lodge, where the wild meets the luxurious.
Day 7 Trek in the Kyambura Gorge

After a magical bush breakfast, lace up your hiking boots for a second trek into Kyambura Gorge. Beyond the search for chimpanzees, you’ll delve deeper into the secrets of this stunning ecosystem. Your guide will help you track footprints and share the stories of the wildlife that thrives here.
Later, take part in the Kyambura Gorge Eco-tourism Project, where you can try your hand at coffee roasting with the Kyambura Women’s Coffee Cooperative or plant a tree in the wildlife buffer zone. As the day draws to a close, enjoy a barbeque and wildlife storytelling evening with the local community, a perfect blend of culture and conservation. You will overnight at Kyambura Gorge Lodge, where the spirit of Uganda’s wilderness comes to life.
Day 8 Arrival at Mount Gahinga Lodge

Fly to Kisoro and then journey by road to the breathtaking Mount Gahinga Lodge, nestled at the base of the Virunga Volcanoes. In the afternoon, visit the Gahinga Batwa Village and step into a world rich with history and tradition. The Batwa people, one of Africa’s oldest communities, will share stories of their ancient life as forest-dwelling hunter-gatherers.
Enjoy cocktails and a fireside chat with a vet from the Gorilla Doctors, learning about their tireless efforts to protect these endangered creatures. You will overnight at Mount Gahinga Lodge, where the stars shine bright above the volcanoes.
Day 9 Gorilla Trekking in Uganda

Today, you’ll set out for one of the most extraordinary experiences on Earth – gorilla trekking. The journey through steep, dense forests is challenging, but every step is worth it when you finally come face-to-face with a family of mountain gorillas. Watching these gentle giants in their natural habitat is a humbling and awe-inspiring experience.
After a fulfilling day, return to the lodge and treat yourself to a rejuvenating Rungu massage at the Gahinga Spa. You will overnight at Mount Gahinga Lodge, where relaxation follows adventure.
Day 10 Exploring the Virunga Mountains

Uganda Luxury Safari Gorillas Chimps & Wildlife

Day 1 Arrival at Entebbe International Airport
Upon arrival at Entebbe International Airport, you will go through the emigration process which always takes between thirty minutes to two hours depending on your arrival time. Exiting through arrivals, you will meet a representative from Hooves of Africa Safaris for a short meet and greet. Then, you’ll transfer to your boutique hotel in Entebbe for an overnight stay on a bed and breakfast arrangement.
Day 2 Scenic Road Trip to Kibale with Evening Community Tour

We will pick you up from your guest house in Entebbe and transfer you to Kibale National Park. We recommend you have breakfast between 6:30 am – 7:00 am so that we set off at 7:30 am for the primate capital. The transfer is about 6 hours, meaning that you will be arriving at your lodge in time for a hot lunch with an open afternoon. You can visit and support the local communities. Your dinner and overnight stay will be in the heart of Kibale forest.
Day 3 Chimpanzee Trekking and Game Drive in Kasenyi Plains

After breakfast, you will drive to Kanyanchu to join others for briefing before you head to the forest with rangers in search of chimps following their calls and tracks. Once chimps have been located, you will spend one hour with them as you learn more about them.
After your hot lunch at the lodge, you will drive to Queen Elizabeth National Park, check in, and prepare for your evening game drive to close the day. (On request we can arrange a night game driver for better chances of sighting and getting close cats).
Day 4 Morning Game Drive and Afternoon Kazinga Channel Community Boat Cruise

This park is blessed with with over 90 species of mammals and 600 bird species which makes it ideal for the big game. To increase your chances of wildlife sightings, we’ll start our game drives at 6:30 am and hope to meet lions, leopards, elephants, and cape buffaloes among others on this quest.
In the afternoon, you’ll take a boat cruise on the Kazinga Channel famous for its high density of hippos, and discover more about the water species or meet those who come to relax or drink water in the afternoon. We use the Katunguru community boat to support the local communities who are guides and local fishermen. Your dinner and overnight stay will be at your lodge.
Day 5 Scenic Road Trip to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After breakfast, you will depart from Queen Elizabeth National Park and drive towards the southernmost parts of Uganda. The road trip is both scenic and wild as you traverse through the rural villages of the Kigezi region. Depending on where your gorilla permits have been booked, you will have lunch en route. Then, you’ll proceed for an overnight stay at the edge of the forest. (Optional lion monitoring program before departing to Bwindi 200$ per person not included in the cost). This is to give you a chance to follow cats as one of the routine procedures in monitoring and caring for these big cats).
Day 6 Ultimate Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park

After breakfast, you will have a short drive to the UWA briefing center where you will be taken through the dos, and don’ts while tracking gorillas. After you have been allocated a gorilla family in a group of 8 pax, you will be led by ranger guides off the forest to search for the gorillas. When gorillas have been located, you will have one full hour of viewing them as they go on with their daily lives at a distance of 7-10 meters. You’ll enjoy a packed lunch amidst the forest, savoring the unique experience of dining in the gorilla’s natural habitat. You’ll reflect on your gorilla-tracking experience over a sumptuous dinner at your lodge, sharing stories and memories with fellow travelers or guides.
Day 7 Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park with a Night Game Drive

After a relaxed morning in Bwindi, you’ll transfer to Lake Mburo National Park with a hot rolex stop in Mbarara town. Uganda is famous for a variety of local dishes and the rolex is one of them! We will stop at the rolex just in case you would like to taste the rolex. You’ll continue to Sanga gate and check in at your accommodation. You’ll have an evening game drive, dinner, and overnight stay at the edge of the park. You’ll have optional night game drives to explore the park at night and increase your chances of seeing cats.
Day 8 Walking Safari and Transfer to Entebbe
After breakfast, you will take a walking safari to discover the park on foot before departing for Entebbe. This park is famous for its antelopes and zebras of course not forgetting 340 bird species that have been recorded here all packed for your walking safari. Later, you will drive back to Entebbe with a photographic stop at the equator. End of tour (Please note that a day room use can be arranged on request at an extra cost).
