This white marble tomb was built by Nur Jahan between 1622 and 1628. The tomb may not be as mammoth as the Taj but the inlay designs and carvings are no less than Taj if not more. PROGRAM – 8
Super India and Dubai
10 Nights / 11 Days
Delhi, Jaipur, Abhaneri, Agra, Delhi, Dubai

DAY 01 Arrive Delhi

Arrive and transfer to the hotel.
Night in Delhi.

DAY 02 Delhi
After breakfast, check out of the hotel to make a full day of the visit of Old and Delhi. We will visit the majestic Jama Masjid Mosque, built in 1656 by Emperor Shah Jahan, with three imposing black and white marble domes and two twin minarets flanking its majestic central arch. A grand staircase of red sandstone leads to the magnificent arched doorways.

We will also visit Raj Ghat, the Mahatma Gandhi Mausoleum, erected in 1963 in the place where Gandhi lived from 1917 to 1930. It was built by Charles Correa as a tribute to Gandhi, to disseminate his ideas, his letters, his photographs and other documents that mark the trajectory of the search for freedom. Enjoy a fascinating “Man-Drawn Cart” Rickshaw ride at Chandni Chowk to see its typical markets and bazaars. We will also take a panoramic tour of the Red Fort.

In the afternoon we will visit the modern part of Delhi. The tour begins with the wide avenue where the parliament is located, surrounded by large gardens and various administrative buildings; at one of its ends is the Puerta de la India, a triumphal arch that commemorates the First World War; on the other Rashtrapati Bhawan, wonderful structure and official residence of the President of India. The architecture is a mixture between the Indian and European styles, with a strong syncretism between elements of the Mughal Empire and Buddhist and Hindu art.

We will also visit the Qutub Minar, a five-story tower of victory. This monument looms over the historic site where Qutbuddin Aibak laid the foundations of the Delhi Sultanate. In 1193 he built the Mosque of Quwwat-ul-islam (Power of Islam) and the Qutub Minar to announce the advent of the Muslim sultans. You will also visit the temple of the Sikhs (Gurudwara Bangla Sahib), one of the main and most important temples of the Sikh religion. Everyone is welcome at this temple, regardless of age, religion or social status. The Sikh religion is the ninth religion with the largest number of believers in the world and its main motto is to see God in each one of us.

Hence, equality is above all. Perhaps these tenets of faith explain the hospitality with which the temple staff receive hundreds of people daily. What is most striking about this generosity is the offering of a humble meal to all the pilgrims who, for one reason or another, have decided to come to Gurdwara Bangla Sahib. Accommodation at the hotel.

DAY 03 DELHI – JAIPUR
After breakfast at the hotel, drive to Jaipur. Near the village of Samode, about 42 kilometers from Jaipur, there is a building ordered to be built by the nobles of the court of Amber. It was originally built in the 16th century as a fortress, but in the early 19th century it was converted into a palace in a Hindu-Mughal style. Although the structure is made of sandstone, the interiors were decorated with marble, mosaic walls, wall paintings, mirrors.

In 1987, the palace became a hotel with 43 rooms and all kinds of luxuries, which has allowed for stupendous conservation. On arrival in Jaipur, check into the hotel. Jaipur also known as ”The Pink City”, due to the color of its most emblematic buildings. In its lively streets, camels make their way between motorcycles and turbaned old villagers coexist with young people dressed in Western clothes. At dusk, attend the aarti ceremony at the Hindu temple.

DAY 04 JAIPUR – AMBER FORT – JAIPUR
In the morning: We will enjoy a unique experience: we will climb on the back of elephants to reach the top of the hill where Amber Fort stands, the former capital of the State until 1728. This fortress was built in 1592 on the remains of an old fort from the 11th century, but it is the various buildings added later (1621-1667) that make up its magnificent central body.

From the top of the hill, Amber Fort and its ramparts offer a spectacular and unforgettable panoramic view of Maota Lake and the historic town at the bottom of the hill. Here we will visit the Kali Temple, the Pavilion of Victory (Jai Mahal) and the Jagmandir as well.

In the afternoon, visit the city of Jaipur (named after Maharajah Jai Singh, prince and astronomer, who designed and founded the city in 1727). We will visit the Maharaja’s Palace, a former royal residence and today a museum of manuscripts, Rajput and Mughal paintings and weapons.

The Palace of the Winds is also wonderful with an impressive façade where Mughal art can be seen in all its splendor, specifically its architecture, characterized by the use of native Indian materials, such as white marble and red stone. Accommodation at the hotel.

DAY 05 JAIPUR – ABHANERI – FATEHPUR SIKRI – AGRA
Early in the morning, departure by road towards the city of Agra, visiting Abhaneri and Fatehpur Sikri en route. Built by Emperor Akbar in 1569, in honor of Salim Chishti, a famous Sufi saint of the Chishti order. It was the Mughal capital for 14 years. A beautiful example of a Mughal walled city, with well-differentiated public and private areas and imposing gates. Its architecture, a fusion of Hindu and Islamic styles, reflects Akbar’s secular vision and way of ruling.

The main buildings of the imperial palace complex, clustered together in a series of terraces, formed the core of the city. The concentric terraces clearly divide the public spaces from the private royal quarters. It was abandoned due to its inability to provide it with a water supply.

Continuation of the trip to Agra “known as ”The City of the Taj” and seat of the Mughal court during the 16th and 17th centuries, before the capital moved to Delhi. On arrival in Agra checked into the hotel. Accommodation at the hotel.

DAY 06 AGRA
IMPORTANT: Taj Mahal is closed every Friday. In the morning visit the city, which, thanks to the patronage of the emperors Akbar, Jahangir and Shah Jahan, flourished and attracted artisans from Persia, Central Asia and other parts of India, who built luxurious forts, palaces, gardens and mausoleums.

Among them stands out the Taj Mahal, a love song built by Emperor Shah Jehan in 1630 to serve as a mausoleum for his queen, Mumtaj Mahal. It is one of the most famous and photographed buildings in the world. Its perfect proportions and exquisite symmetry have been described as ”a vision, a dream, a poem, a marvel”. This majestic mausoleum with a garden, simulating the garden of the Islamic paradise, used around 20,000 workers who worked on it for 12 years until it was completed in 1643.

Of special beauty is the marble fence, delicately carved in filigree in a single piece of marble and which guarded the area around the royal tombs, as well as the lotus pond that reflects the image of the mausoleum and owes its name to the pipes, in the form of a lotus, from its sources. Then visit the Red Fort of Agra.

“This fort is situated on the west bank of the Yamuna and built between 1565 and 1573. Its imposing red sandstone fortifications form a crescent along the river bank and enclose a gigantic complex of stately buildings, varying in style. Within the complex are some interesting structures, such as the Jehangiri Mahal, the Anguri Bagh, the Khas Mahal and the Moti Masjid. Accommodation at the hotel.
